I love credit cards so much! v6.0 - 2023 (see first page for add'l details)

I wanted to give an update about my allegiant/chase mess. Allegiant actually refunded the full amount to chase. I contacted chase and they said it could take 1-2 billing cycles to show up. It should be around 100k URs so I’m hoping we see those in my account soon.

LOL I'm in the middle of a "fight" with Chase. I had a 10% back offer for Kate Spade (outlet or surprise). Back in Nov. I bought a purse from Kate Spade Surprise for $140ish, so should have gotten $14 back. I didn't appear so I sent them a SM and after back and forth for a while, they are claiming my purchase was made from the Kate Spade regular site, not the surprise. Well, first of all, I'm too cheap to pay full price for almost anything! My latest response yesterday included a screenshot of my order where it clearly states surprise. I should probably let it go, but now it's the principle of it because I am not wrong! LOL! I let one go last year when my daughter got an oil change at Valvoline, should have got around $20 back but never did. I know it's only $14, but I specifically used that card because it had the offer, grrrr!

Update! After several months and many SMs, Chase has finally agreed that yes, I was right! $14 victory is mine! LOL

Welcome :welcome:!

If you can't find a decent flight to Munich, try looking at flying into at Frankfurt. You could easily catch a (very) short flight from FRA to MUC. Frankfurt is a Lufthansa hub, the catch is that Lufthansa releases biz class seats around 14 days before departure. You can book other flights, then cancel them if you are able to grab seats on Lufthansa 2 weeks prior to departure (this is what I did on my trip to Budapest in December -- I had another flight booked, then cancelled when I was able to snag first class on Lufthansa to FRA, I then took a quick flight from FRA to BUD.

On another note, I called Chase because I haven't received my new CIC and dd's res and tuition is due on the 20th. They haven't 'released' the card yet. I asked them if they can courier to my address north of the border and they agreed (they said 2-3 biz days). Wish that I called yesterday because I have to use Plastiq to pay them and they mail a check.
How do you know when airlines release their award flights? Is there a 'cheat sheet' somewhere?

Most airlines, not southwest, release seats on a rolling basis, 330 days is around common. Google will get you the answer for the one you're looking for. Either when does x airline open seats or when does x airline open partner seats.

I'm sure there's a blog out there that has a list. But really you want to decide where you want to go and then figure out the best 2 to 3 ways to do it on points. Then figure out how to book it.

It's been a long while since I did a Chase paperless statement offer, does anyone recall when they paid out? Was targeted for $10, completed it in Dec a couple weeks before the deadline, haven't seen the credit. Does it come when the next statement closes maybe?

They just sent me another email for $10 again on a different card this time but not trying to give away the goods  Like to make sure it's tracking before I try again.

I just got the offer as well. Never had one from Chase before. Not sure when it pays.

I'm still waiting for a US Bank offer for $10 off $50 from end of October. It did say 10-12 weeks and it's now 10 weeks. I got another offer in December but I skipped it as I'm just annoyed by the long wait. Guess I want instant gratification.

I have gotten them on a few cards. Usually credit a few days after the first paperless statement, then I just go back and change to paper. :-)

Yesterday I took a ride over to my Office Depot and used the 10% off on my Chase cards for $110 Disney gift cards. I had 4 days to go before expiration. Hopefully they will renew themselves immediately as they did last time (November) and I can do it again to get ahead on my DVC dues. That's coming along really well this year as I've been able to tap into oldest DD's offers. She has lots of offers but doesn't bother with them.

I would also love to get another shot at Kohl's. I've been buying the urinary tract catfood from Amazon and using the Amazon gift cards I got with the Kohl's offer, that's 20% off. It all adds up!

I may also try for another CIC after my Disney trip. I've got a few minor renovations to do - flooring and paint so can probably handle the MSR fairly quickly. Doing the Office Depot offer, I used 3 UR cards plus Hyatt, IHG and a Bonvoy. The CIC paid out 550 URs so was the best deal - $11 plus $5.50 in UR's assuming minimum 1% =15.5%. I'll transfer the UR's probably to Hyatt so will actually get over 2% on them.

just to piggyback on this most savers for international is best when you can do it 330 days+ out, this is why people also book japan a year out. I've done it for AirFrance now two times one for 65k (fire sale) and one for 120k @mom2febgirls

I'm at 4/24 until June when my Saphhires MDD will drop off and open up 2 slots. I currently have:
AmEx Hilton biz
AmEx Gold
AmEx Plat
1 CIC (Jan 2022
2 CIU (April 2022 and Nov 1 2022)
CFU (PC'd my CSR last year)
CSR
CFF

I need points for hotels, and accidentally missed out on the Bonvoy 125K offer. Any suggestions? I am open to any and every points currency. I have received 3 Inks in the past year. So I am thinking I might push my luck if I apply for a 4th, but the elevated offer is so good.
