Looks like we're going to pay $100/pt on an Aulani contract. At least its loaded?
I know that this thread can exert some pressure to post crazy good deals but I think you did fine. 6 months ago, Aulani (non-sub) contracts were selling for $122pp according to the board sponsor's monthly report. How big is the contract if you don't mind me asking?

100. So we have 200 for this year, paying 2023 MF
That’s pretty reasonable for a loaded Aulani contract, not the best, definitely not the worst. Also aloha! :)
Thanks :) I probably could have negotiated more but I'm also trying to book a 10 person cruise for this summer (why yes, that is very late to try to do that) simultaneously and my husband wanted another contract.

Trust me I get it, originally we were planning on having our wedding in Aulani so I purchased a stripped subsidized contract for Aulani but then we ended up changing our mind and are thinking WDW may be more feasible to have the wedding. I don't regret mine but wish I had haggled a little bit more haha

Nope! If we have to cancel a trip within 31 days, I’ll simple rent the reservation. And if I can’t, I’ll offer to friends or family.

We travel enough that as long as we cancel more than 31 days, those points can be banked and the following year I book larger rooms.

For example, I had to cancel a trip this month because my dad passed away. I relocated them into my RIV night in a few weeks and because there was a GV, I booked that for the one night instead of the cabin I had booked using my VGF points. Had that not been available I had days at RIV in March and September booked too!

They are Dec UY and always will be used for my winter trips!
My sincerest condolences to you and your family.

I’m sorry for your loss! Hope you are doing OK. I’m sure I can speak for the whole community to say we are here for you if you need us.

I’ve been bidding a bunch. I’m getting the sense that Inventory is so high because most sellers are not actually sellers at todays prices. They are clinging to higher prices and hoping for a rebound.
