Congrats. I was thinking of offering $80-$85 and ask for no 2023 reimb mf but ultimately decided not to bid for fear of them wanting to sell it. Great buy!

After hearing all of the lowballs offered by my fellow disboarders, I am wondering how much lower I could have gotten away with. Oh, well. I'll be happy with my $83. That would have been unheard of a year ago (and hopefully it goes back up by the time I need to sell it).

I can see why that would frustrate them, but at the same time, some of us aren’t in a huge rush and are willing to wait to see if that unicorn deal pops up at some point. We have a pretty strict budget we’re trying to stay within so if we can work a deal that fits in that budget, great. If not, we’ll wait and keep trying.

This is the first time I am posting but I have been combing this board for the last week. We are not in a rush to purchase but if the right contract and the right price come along we will pull the trigger. I just enjoy the thrill and watching all of the post.

I'm wondering if some resorts just take longer than others. I'm waiting on SSR and see only two have passed but others are still waiting from March.

I think that the whole process is a giant mystery, just when you think you may be understanding there's a wrench thrown in the mix.

We submitted offers on probably 8 different contracts before we were finally find one that worked the best for both us and the seller. Not the cheapest deal I've seen here, but we're super happy with the banked 2022 points. This will be our 3rd contract since August (the other two are at the Poly). I think we're done for awhile lol.

First contract ever, have been looking into this for years and excited to have this as our young kids start to become Disney age.

Will say thank you again to everyone here on this site, the information here was super helpful in considering options and making offers. Had I relied just on what I was hearing from some brokers, we would have never gotten such a good price. I put in a similar $pp offer on a 240 point contract with no 2022 points and that contract's broker told me that if I was looking to stay at that budget I needed to consider 160 point contracts -- would have translated to $130+ per point!

On the other hand, I had a great experience with ****************** -- the brokers were much more realistic about current market dynamics (within reason!) and were very helpful. The broker I was dealing with was actively texting the seller while I was on the phone with him to help speed up negotiations. Quickly settled on a price on the condition of moving quickly and we've been plowing through everything ever since. Now just hoping for a fast close!
