Just an FYI for anyone trying to decide on a snack or dessert...

I just got the S'More dessert the other day at Roaring Fork. I thought it was quite delicious!

They used to have a s'more dessert at Le Cellier. It was so good! It was removed from the menu many years ago. I wonder if the Roaring Forks one is similar. I will check it out the next time we stay at WL.

We just upgraded to WL from CBR for our upcoming January trip! We will be there 1/17-1/21 for my 50th birthday! This will be our first time staying here.

You will love it! It's a wonderful place for a winter visit. It's so cozy feeling. Congratulations!

The club level upgrade at check in was reported to be available at an additional cost of $149 per day. There is no guarantee that it will be available when you check in. But there haven't been any recent reports that people have been turned down recently.

Just to add to the great information @Wood Nymph provided. You also must add it for your entire length of stay and not just select nights.

Hi we are staying at WL for the first time ever next month. I’m thinking of doing a room request for a room at the end of the wing, close to the boat to MK, if that makes sense.
Is there a stairwell there we can use? I took a quick look at touring plans room map and it looks like there might be stairs at the end of that wing so we can make a quick exit to the boat dock. ? Thanks!

We had a room at that end of the building and there is a staircase there. We have used it many times.

Another room request recommendation.

We are staying at BRV for the very first time in a dedicated two bedroom, during NYE and the first week of January.

First question is do those rooms have the mini single murphy beds?

Also, I guess our preference is closest to the main lobby which would put us closest to the pools right? Any recommendations regarding floor or anything else I should be thinking of?

We are driving so parking is also right outside the main lodge correct? There is no dedicated lot for the villas from what I can see?

THANK YOU FOR ANY GUIDANCE OR ADVICE THAT YOU EXPERTS HAVE. We are over the moon that we will get to spend the holiday at your home! We own at AKV and BWV but never thought of owning at the WL because we are from the Northeast and where we live is covered in log cabins, but the awe factor, everytime we have ever walked into that resort, sealed the fact for us that we live here because we love it so why not try the Disney version! LOL

I do not believe the dedicated 2BR's have the small pull down under the TV, that is only in the lockoffs because it is a studio. If you want a water view/pool view, those rooms are odd numbered. You can see the Electrical Water Parade from some of the lake views. Rooms on the 5th floor do not have a murphy bed in the living area, it is a new pull out sofa. So, if you want a murphy bed, specify you do not want the 5th floor. And definitely don't skip Geyser Point. Check out Touring Plans to see room locations and views, their room finder is great. I'm so glad I asked because I thought, for some reason, that the Electrical Water Parade wasn't going on anymore! That is exciting. I haven't seen it in over 10 years!

Thanks for the advice on Geyser Point, we just might be grabbing our food there on NYE because I can't find a way to waste time dining when there are so many fun things to do and we're going to catch the 6:30 fireworks in MK and then head back to the resort to hang out together in a less crowded crazy setting.

I think you have a 100% chance of getting a balcony with a WL water view room.

There is only one room without a balcony and it is a Boulder Ridge studio (4533). It does face the water, but if you didn't book a DVC studio, there's nothing to worry about!
