Candlelight Processional Dining Packages booking starts10/17

I don’t think so. In the way past, we did this, but they had a different system for giving out show credentials. Recently, it’s been difficult to get later times at all. In 2022, the latest time I was able to get was 5:50 for the 8:15 show. And, as mentioned above, you get your entry badge at dinner or lunch now (late lunch/super early dinner is the dining time for the early shows typically).
Thank you! That is what I suspected and it's good to hear the experience of someone who has done it before.

Thanks for all this info! Little frustrated that I can’t book reservations for December with a pixie pass! I can book with my sorcerers pass and did but now I have to wait and hope my daughter gets a Epcot reservation. It’s hard to get processional dining/tickets at all. Now I did need a double dose of pixie dust…one for processional and one for reservation! Keeping my “ wings” crossed.
IMG_0986.pngI’m not sure why you can’t book now. I have a pixie pass and I have booked for December already. When I look at the calendar, it shows availability

You don't need a park pass reservation to book a dinner package do you? We planned on going to MK in the morning and hopping over to epcot for the processional later.

With DH we will see Ann Margaret. Then I have 4 friends with me the following week, and we will have 5 and be trying to book for NPH. Should we try to split, 2 and 3, or will that odd number be just as hard? Should we just try for 6? Will John Stamos be easier?

This will be our first year doing the Candlelight Processional - if we book a dining package do we still need to line up early? We'll be there for Brendan Fraser, so I'm assuming it'll be busy...

Yes, if you want a decent seat. The dining package guarantees you a seat… not a good seat. There is a separate line for those with dining packages and they will be let in first. This line alone can be very long depending on the narrator. If you want a seat worth the price of the dining package, line up early!

We really want to see CP but also have young kids (3 under 6). How much can you see/hear from outside the amphitheater? Thinking we might be better served listening for a few minutes and then moving on…

It’s often noisy and crowded outside. Hard to hear the music for everyone and hard to see the stage for little ones. Lots of competition for places to sit down nearby. The movement of people is like wildebeest migration between shows.

Thanks for your insight! Maybe this isn’t the year for us.

There is a singing group called Joyful! that gives performances several times a day over on the World Showcase plaza during the holidays. Very high energy holiday music, in a gospel style. Great singers! Not very crowded there usually (no seating there, but you can sit on the pavement there). We go every year. Maybe better with little ones.

Going to be my first time booking a dining package for CP. I’ve already read that booking for two will be far easier than for one. I’ll be trying for Dec. 12th & BF, so I can see that will be my best bet. What I couldn’t find anywhere was the time reservations will become available on Oct. 17th. Same as the regular ADR window of 6AM Eastern? TIA

Yup. That's the expectation...... It's part of the normal ADRs - except since they've waited so long to release them, there will be a million people trying to make them together from the first night through 12/16 (or even beyond, with reservations 60+ days out)..... Hope the web site holds up!

Last year, we didn't book the CLP dining pkg in advance. We did the day-of tickets at the Regal Eagle Smokehouse. It was $40 per person and the food was soooo good and big portions.
May I ask, do you recall how early you had to line up (or check in with the restaurant) to get day-of tickets? I know my kids would prefer the food at Regal Eagle, and it would allow for more park time. Just not sure how risky it is to wait till day-of vs advance reservations.

We got there for 11:45am. It had just opened so went right in to order. You order your lunch and ticket at the same time. The food portions were huge, but soooo good. They had tickets for all three shows and we picked the 7pm (ish) time slot. We lined up for the show an hour before and got amazing seats right in the middle section on the aisle about half way from the front.

Apologies if already mentioned, Do you recall the narrator that day?
