Costco Disney Gift Cards

I did 2 orders of 2 yesterday and all card numbers came and were immediately applied to next year’s dues. Tried for 2 more - order went thru, but then got a cancellation email.

2 orders of 2 may be the limit!

It sounds like you are able to prepay dues since none of the dues have posted yet?

Does it just show up as a negative balance (i.e., credit) when you look at the balances online?

Shows as a credit balance. It will be applied to the current year dues once they are posted. Then I will go in and pay the difference. Have been doing this for years. I apply all our credit card rewards to dues during the year. I always have a credit balance in December when the dues are posted.

Just put $1,000.00 toward dues, tomorrow I am going to Lowe's to use up a gift card that has been lying around for a few years..

So thankful I saw this! Just got two cards, as that's all I needed or could afford now.

Am I correct in thinking that I just use the codes provided when I am buying tickets directly from Disney's site?

After I do that, I will have some money left over on these costco ecredit/eCards.

I think I might be able to add that eCredit onto a physical gift card that I already have, right? It would be nice to have that little extra on a GC that I can easily use in the parks for souvenirs.

I had an AmEx offer of $50 off $250 at Lowes, you better believe I went into Lowes and bought $250 of Disney gift cards
That's awesome, I always thought you couldn't buy gift cards with a gift card. I'll have to check my AmEx for that offer.

Yes, just enter the card # and EAN in the appropriate locations (I have the e-GC window open and the Disney website open so that I can just copy and paste), and you’ll be good to go.

Yes, you can transfer the balance using DisneyGiftCard.com

I just purchased 4 more Disney gift cards from Costco using my husband’s Costco #. We are on the same membership, but have different numbers. Both #’s worked to buy 4 $250 gift cards thru Costco online.

I ended up with $2000 of Disney gift cards for $1800. Plus the 2% back for executive members and 2% back for using the Costco citi visa.

Already applied as a credit to next years DVC dues. A great deal from Costco!

I was about to post this deal up, I just saw it in an email from Costco.

I'm hoping it will become a permanent item on their site, like the rest of their gift card offerings.

Thanks for posting. Two orders or 2 cards worked for me. Wonder if using screenshots of the cards would work? I could keep those in Notes on my iPhone.

I got an e-gift card last year for Christmas. I was able to load it into my iPhone wallet and used it easily at the parks for a ticket and some food and merch.

I noticed a pretty weak relation between how the payments were made and how they were ultimately applied not that the dues have posted to my account this morning.

For example, if I have 3 contracts and I prepaid $1000 on contract #1, it initially showed a credit balance of $1000 on contract#1 (the total due on that contract would be more than $1000). But now that the dues have posted, I might see a credit of $670 on contract#1, $200 on contract#2 and $130 on contract #3. It all adds up to $1000, but not sure why it was applied like this and may potentially have implications in cases where a contract is being sold (if seller does one thing based on arrangement with buyer and it's applied differently)?

Costco really is the best…I like the digital delivery so much more than BJ’s physical cards being sent through the mail. I get concerned about that much value - what is effectively cash equivalent - being sent via the postal service.

I realize I’m a little late to the game - just realized today that Costco is now selling Disney GCs but so far I’ve been able to get 3 orders of 2 gift cards each through and already credited to my DVC dues.

I'm late to finding out about these deals, but I was able to order 2 yesterday. After reading this (thanks for posting btw) I just placed an order for two more. Between these and the Best Buy discount, I'm saving $115 on dues this year, plus Costco rewards, plus points for travel on the credit card! I just read I may be able to place an additional Best Buy order after 3 hours, we'll see. :)
