It’s December 26th, which means it’s time for many to think about when they want to put away their Christmas decorations. So….I ask today…..

When are you taking down your Christmas decorations this year?

For Me…..Our decorations will be put away this week. Every year it’s different - it depends on time, and this year it’s best to do it this week 🙂👍🏻

I will start today, but won't get it all done until Thursday or Friday.
I'm going shopping with DD today and have some other things the next couple of days.

Usually, I take them down shortly after New Year's Day. But this year we're going to Great Wolf Lodge with some friends for a couple of days, January 1 - 2, so Christmas clean up can wait until the following weekend.

If I was off today which most years I am ( this year I’m not ) I would do it today - so I’ll start gathering items to central location and put everything away this weekend

I have my family Christmas today so probably tomorrow I will start putting everything away. We keep the outside lights up and on for a couple of weeks, tho. :santa:

Not until after New Years Day.

DD mentioned yesterday she knows of a family that takes down their tree and decor after early dinner on Christmas Day. “Christmas is over.” Then again they start decorating before Thanksgiving.

Not judging, but I’m surprised by the number of people(in general) who don’t celebrate through the Epiphany. These 12-days should be some of the most important on the religious calendar. This coming from someone who is not “outwardly” religious.…

I like to leave the indoor decorations up until after New Year's Day. We will probably take the tree down on January 2nd. It is an artificial tree that we bought in 2009. The lights are starting to burn out this year. Two sections are gone. We talked about downsizing our artificial tree and this looks like the time we will do it. The lighted tree has been convenient, but I don't think we will buy a lighted tree again.

I will leave the outdoor decorations up until the middle of January.

I will probably put some of my indoor decorations away since I never found the time to properly put them out this year. DS9 kind of through them on the bookcase. Lost track of time this year and didn’t put everything out we normally do.

I will keep the tree up and our outdoor giant Frosty inflatable until the weekend after New Years.

I haven’t decided yet. Our only decoration is the tree, and I enjoy it so will leave it up, and lit, at least until the end of January. Maybe longer😁

My sister had to work yesterday and will be working New Year’s also, so we are getting together to do Christmas on January 12. The plan is to take down the decorations on the 13th. I don’t have any outdoor decorations, so the neighbors will be none the wiser.

It varies year by year but this year, we are taking the tree down tonight. Daughter and niece are leaving tomorrow and I'm leaving Friday for a week.

It will be the weekend of January 6-7 for me. I’m headed to NYC for a few days and DH will be home working, we have plans this weekend, and then we both work next week, January 6 will be first free day to put things away.
