We always leave our tree up until after January 6th, Epiphany.
I leave my nativity upNot judging, but I’m surprised by the number of people(in general) who don’t celebrate through the Epiphany. These 12-days should be some of the most important on the religious calendar. This coming from someone who is not “outwardly” religious.…
There are plenty of people (myself included) that only celebrate the secular aspects of Christmas, so the religious aspect means absolutely nothing to meNot judging, but I’m surprised by the number of people(in general) who don’t celebrate through the Epiphany. Not a religious family either, but as has been well documented here, Christmas runs through the epiphany on January 6th in our household. We normally don't put Christmas decorations up until after December 7th out of respect for Pearl Harbor Day. But this year we put them up December 2nd because we were going to be out of town the following weekend. The Christmas season sure dragged having everything up a week early. Went out to look at Christmas lights on Saturday night, odd mix this year. Lots of houses with nothing, and lots of houses with over the top decorating, including one house with 28 inflatable Grinches on the front lawn.Not judging, but I’m surprised by the number of people(in general) who don’t celebrate through the Epiphany.
