Today is our day to take the indoor Christmas decorations down!
I know this might sound weird, but this is how we've been doing it for years, we have three Christmas themes; Disney, Standard and now Harry Potter. Each theme has their own storage bins, two bins per theme; one for ornaments and the other for the empty boxes.

The original boxes are kept whole, they are not pressed flat and all the original packing material stay in the boxes including any certificates.

Ornaments are wrapped in tissue paper or placed in bubble bags.
For the HP Castle tree topper, because it's so ornate I'll be putting that in a packing box.

Batteries are removed and placed in a battery organizer

Like I said, it sounds weird but I find it much easier to unpack all the ornaments, it takes less time plus the boxes don't get damaged.

Interesting! It's such a pain to pack every single ornament in its little box. But I don't have enough storage space to pack the ornaments separately from the boxes. And I like to keep the boxes in case I get a new ornament of a character/franchise, which means I would sell the previous one.

Interesting on the Walmart offer.

I don't see it on my wife's Chase Freedom.

I do see it on 2 other cards (online Chase Offers):

Chase Sapphire Preferred - 10% back, $10.00 Cash Back Max, Exp: 1/31/24
Chase Sapphire Reserve - 15% back, $15 Cash Back Max, Exp: 1/31/24

Will have to keep my eyes on the other cards to see if it pops up.

But it seems the offer is kind of all over the place wrt who gets it and what you get.

This offer seems to be highly targeted. On my 9 Chase cards, I only have the offer on 1 of them and it is only for 5%.

If you haven't received it, check in your account that your order wasn't cancelled, I have read a lot of people say that Walmart is very prone to cancel egift card orders.

It still shows Arriving Soon. I did an online chat to see what was up, and the CSR rep is like oh I opened a ticket so you should get a response within 24 hours. SMH, Target is the superior place to buy egiftcards.

I was shocked mine wasn’t canceled as that is usually what happens to me.

I placed the order yesterday at 2:13 pm and received it at 2:31 pm so less than 20 minutes.
