I know it takes some time for a contract to show on a membership, but generally curious what I’m keeping an eye out for right now - e.g. are there multiple emails that should be coming or just one to set up an account? Who sends the email communication? Thanks, all!

You should get two separate emails from Disney Vacation Club. First is typically the one-time activation code, and then a second email (could be a few hours later) with your club ID. Both are necessary to log in to the DVC site. If you already have a Disney account, you will use that same login, but will need the club ID and one-time code to link your account.

Thank you so much! Even that helps to know what to expect via email. I’m a new member so it’ll be the first communication.

I was secretly hoping I could set up an account first but see that the club ID is a must have.

Oof. That's rough! I was reading the other thread about https://www.dvcclosings.com/ and how they don't do CA closings, apparently. So frustrating that you were ghosted! I hope you can find some use for those points you have that will expire soon. Maybe you can rent them out or something!

Thanks…we basically lost a month because of them. Based on the information I have it certainly felt like we were being intentionally lied to. Thankfully Rebecca at FA pushed things through relatively quickly.

Hopefully we get our points quickly. We are actually planning a trip for May with the expiring points but the pickings are getting slim. I was also starting to get worried that we weren’t going to be able to book VGC before the end of the year.

There’s an arrow at both sides of the header and you can scroll (or swipe on mobile). I noticed it like a year after my second contract lol
