Grand Floridian Sugar Loaf or Polynesian Club Level?

Hi guys,
Im trying to pick between a standard room club level between the Grand Floridian (sugarloaf) and Polynesian. I love both resorts but Ive never stayed club level. Do you guys have any preferance?

Also, I just spoke to guest services and they said if you book sugarloaf you will have access to the main building club level (royal palm club) as well but from these boards I had read that you couldn't. Has anyone actually tried it accessing the main building club level even though they booked the sugarloaf? Thanks!

FYI, what the CM told you about accessing RPC when staying SL is wrong, unfortunatley.

Unless the access is brand new the info you received is incorrect. We were in RPC from 12/24-12/30 and had friends in SL. Anytime they wanted to visit us we had to go down and get them their bands did not work for RPC access. Previously, RPC guests had access to SL as well as RPC but that was discontinued a few years ago as well. In general I don't see them offering two way access as it is problematic to plan for catering the food as well.

Personally, I have never warmed to Poly CL. The lounge and views are fantastic but I just have never enjoyed the lounge offerings and we don't have the special feelings GF gives us. Granted, part of that is that we have been guests for over 20 years and know many of the CM's. I am not a bih fan of SL it is just too much chaos for my family. However, many people really love SL and the location. I find it loud and I don't like the layout of the lounge or the layout of the building for the rooms(in general I find them noisy). Also, our favorite CM's tend to be in RPC.

If I were choosing it would come down to what was more important: food or atmosphere. I give the atmosphere to Hawaii at the Poly and food and CM's to GF SL.

We loved Poly CL! It had a great room size and liked the open design of the building and the grounds in general. The Hawaii building is close to the boat dock and it was easy to walk around the resort and to get to the TTC for the Epcot monorail.

So SL has never been able to access RPC, RPC can access SL but not the other way around.
We adore Poly CL bc of the fantastic views, the very laid back cozy relaxing ambiance but I will agree the offerings are not as good as at SL or RPC... GF CL has more variety and the brekafast was a lot more than pastries, oatmeal, cereal, coffee and milk.
I never understood why Poly never had any kind of protein, like boiled eggs or some meats like GF.. That being said I would stay at Poly CL and SL again for sure

Just FYI, Poly CL does have proteins these days. Hard boiled eggs and a meat selection are out daily.
