Parking lot construction update (and other pics)

Here's a small update on the parking lot construction as well as some other pics:

First in the park -- Main Street is now 100% unobstructed!

Did OK on Buzz today. Exceeded 2,099,000 twice, which means that my scores was (frustratingly) reset.

Buzz Lightyear broke down and they had to walk us off the ride :-(.

It's adjacent the Mickey and Friends parking structure. Until recently it was the Pinocchio lot.

How were the crowds? I saw on a Disney blogger's inst story that the parking structures were full...but didn't hear anything about the park being at max capacity.

Definitely wasn't anything close to capacity. On a 1-10 scale, I'd give it about a 7. Not horrible but perhaps a little heavier than in recent weeks.

Folks: I'll be in China (where I'll hit Shanghai DL, thereby completing my checklist of every park in the world) for a few weeks so I won't be posting any pics or mailing any maps. Try to get along without me for a while. Talk among yourselves ;-).

Good golly, I just had a flashback to high school. My English teacher loved saying that phrase (although he always said amongst)

Have an amazing trip! I love looking at all the photos you post. Can't wait to see some from Shanghai!

And can I just say that every time you post your Buzz score I am AMAZED. Seriously. I love that ride and I've only made it to Ranger 1st Class a few times! :rotfl2:

There must be some other extra trick shots I don't know about? I know about hitting both Zurgs in the chest area...any other tips you could offer? LOL :thumbsup2

I love your weekly reports and even come on to look for them on Mondays now. Thank you for thinking of us folks who can't be there as often. And have a FABULOUS TRIP. Hopefully we'll get to see some pictures and read your thoughts on that park. :thanks:

Generally, only shoot diamonds and triangles. Squares only when you have to. And shoot targets multiple times. Hitting a triangle ten times is 100,000 -- considerably more if it's lit. Let me know if this helps!

Here's a funny thing: I thought my flight to Shanghai was leaving tomorrow night. While speaking with a friend this morning, I had a shocking realization: my flight is actually tonight! I had to run around and get some last minute things done. But I'm in good shape now and I leave for the airport in less than an hour. I'll report upon my return -- many sites are blocked in China. I suspect this one may be too.
