Stitch at ‘Ohana

Anyone been recently? I have read that Stitch no longer comes out to the tables. You have to stand in line to see him. I “think” I have also read that they changed it back and he now comes out to the table. I would call but I really don’t trust them to really know. If you have been in the last few weeks, where is Stitch? We are thinking of doing this during our summer trip but if we have to stand in a long line, we can do that at a park, can’t we? Stitch IS still at a park, right?


***Just realized that I posted about this last month. After pressing the button to post, I realized that writing it seemed very familiar. Ha ha. Getting old really sucks. I looked back and yep, there it was. Anyway, I’m going to leave it up in case it has changed yet again. It would be a deal breaker if he doesn’t come out to tables.

We were there March 3 and stitch came to the tables but pluto was outside with photo pass photographer

I think ohana changes frequently. We were there last August and stitch was in front of ohana and you stood in like to meet him before you were seated.

We were at MK last Saturday and stitch was there too. My DD11 loves stitch so we always try to make an effort to see him.

We saw that on a YouTube video too. Wonder if they rotate?

We have been researching stitch breakfast in multiple places and have come to the same conclusion...that it changes all the time. We are wondering if maybe it changes based on how crowded it is. We saw one video of a couple who were there at opening and all of the characters were inside and we have also seen some where it was very crowded and either Stitch or Pluto was outside.

My theory (with no evidence to back this up) is that it depends on who is friends with Stitch at the time. Stitch is not as playful or mischievous in a meet and greet line as he is table to table so I think more friends could fill the meet & greet line role.

Maybe not, just a theory.

When we went in November we found stitch was outside with a photopass line, I explained to the hostess checking us in that the reservation was kind of pointless for us with this setup because our kids aren’t big eaters and we were really going because lilo and stitch is our favorite but we could have waited in line to meet stitch without paying for an expensive breakfast at MK if the convenience of sitting down wasn’t part of it so they let us meet stitch and skip on the breakfast and we grabbed a pastry at the counter near the monorail entrance/exit instead... all in all I felt if we have to wait on a line for 20+ minutes to meet the character anyway then why are we paying so much for a character breakfast?
