Ipod In the Toilet.... NOoooooo

OMG. I dropped my ipod in the toilet..... Does rice really work?
It's a 6th generation with 1,855 pictures on it. The lucky thing is that i saved my pictures to the computer like a few weeks ago.... Phew... but still my ipod is my life line.

Rice really can work. Just leave it in the rice for at least 2 to 3 days for a fighting chance of resurrection

Definitely try the rice. And don`t turn on the device at all for a couple of days, leave it in the rice... as hard as it is to do!

I dropped my iPhone in the toilet twice (do not put your phone in the back pocket of your jeans!). Ugh. Still works. The second time I did put it in rice and it was okay the next day. A tiny bit glitchy with a faint line across the screen but everything works on it.

We always take the batteries out before putting in rice. We have had mixed results with rice. A couple of iPhones that took a dip in a pool were resurrected with rice. A brand new iPhone 6 that went swimming in the Gulf of Mexico was not able to be resurrected with rice.

I brought my phone back from a spin in the washing machine with rice.

Yeah..... i dropped it in the toilet after I used it for #1... and before I flushed... So I'm hoping it can be fixed.

Miracles happen. DH got in a hot tub with his iphone in his pocket. We stuck it in rice, but gave up on it after a week. A week after he replaced it, it randomly turned back on.
