***Official March 2019 Spring Into Disney Thread!***

I can't decide what to do about this! I think I'm going to go for it with the EMM at HS. The After Hours event looks even better but it would be on our arrival day and I'm not sure I want to get my 3 year old so out of whack the first day of the trip! I'm really struggling with our itinerary this time around. So much has changed so fast over the past few years.
Yes! I feel like I know what I’m doing then things change. We got messed up by EMM at MK when we went in February this year. Booked ADR at BOG before park opening then couldn’t ride a thing before 9am because we didn’t have EMM tickets. It’s like a full time job to keep up for my WDW habit. Lol!

I changed around my entire plan to book DAH. This is a short trip and not too huge of a deal, but still frustrating. No matter how well you plan they throw a wrench into it 3 months out!

Hey March peeps Frozen Dessert Party is now open to book for March

Just booked ours for 3/22 need to see Illuminations one more time before they change it

Thank you so much! I was able to get it for 3/15.

Now I just need to get a different day for Beaches & Cream as even I cannot eat that much sweet stuff in one day.

That’s great!
Yes I agree have a 4:00 dinner so I can have room for all the goodies:D

Rearranged some things to do DAH at AK March 20th.
Decided against FEA dessert party March 17th, to have a chill day in between craziness.
We are doing DAH at DHS March 16th, which we will be getting to the Dolphin (driving 6 hrs this day) around 2-3. Hoping I can get a quick power nap before we head to DAH.
We are taking my GSs, but they sleep fine in their double stroller, so not too worried about them, more worried about this old body. :scared:
Hoping the time change the Sunday before we go will work in our favor.
11:30 pm will feel like 9:30 to us-? :scratchin :ssst:

Thanks! Booked it as well. Just need FP day and planning will feel complete.

My MDE is finally (hopefully) back to normal after multiple emails and phone calls to Disney IT. Only 1.5 hours on the phone today!!

But I can once again see what I am supposed to see, pay online, etc - and I needed to make sure my FPs wouldn’t be messed up!

Well I've been trying to come up with my FP strategy, since 12/31 is approaching! Here's what I am thinking:

Sat 3/2--MK -- Mickey and Minnie, BTMRR, PP
Sun 3/3--MK-- 7DMT, BTMRR, POTC (maybe??)
Mon 3/4-- FoP, FOTLK, Safaris
Tues 3/5-- Soarin, Spaceship Earth, Nemo

Don't need FPs at HS thanks to After Hours.

FPs are tough and I always wind up tweaking them incessantly for the 60 days between making them and going on the trip.

Starting to narrow down our plans too. DAH 2x really makes planning a breeze, gotta say. :)

We are going to FP Mickey/Minnie as well, gotta get my pic on my Birthday with them in their outfits. ::yes:: SO excited for it with my Birthday candle ears. :goodvibes Edging closer to 50, but Disney makes me feel like a little girl, lol.

Have a tripped planned for March 3rd-9th. How should we expect Mardi Gras to affect the crowds? Pop Century btw.

I can't say from personal experience, as this is my first time skipping Mardi Gras to go to Disney. Lots of my friends have done it and are doing it in 2019. They've never complained to me about crowds being too crazy. Of course, compared to Mardi Gras crowds in NOLA I think anything else seems light ;)

Having been there the past couple of years you can expect the crowds to be rather thick. Not as bad as thanksgiving but definitely crowded

Joining in the March Madness! We’re booked 3/18-26, a split stay - 2n @ SS, 5n @ OKW. Hoping for warmer weather this time - our last spring trip (2017) was freezing, I mean, down jackets freezing!
I didn’t know our Canadian friends had their spring break in March - that explains a lot. Looking forward to sharing the sunshine!
