Getting excited and keen to share my plans

Yes, it looks fabulous. We are really not big city ppl and much prefer nature scenary , but I do want to see HKDL at Christmas! Maybe 2 separate trips..
My parents have a holiday house in Wanaka, and we got married there. It is so beautiful.

Back after many long absences. I can HIGHLY recommend for those who don't live in a snowy part of the world like WanderlustNZ, the week long all inclusive trip we just took in Lapland with Harriniva Resorts and Safaris staying in a cabin at Jeris - but it wasn't cheap. My SIL has just booked a 10 day trip to Borneo with TripADeal taking MIL for $4k for the two of them-great itinerary so I am keen to here how that turns out (late Aug/Sep). As I said previously, bit disappointing to hear the experience is souring and costs so much for WDW - I had better adjust my budget plans for 2020 (but nothing can be as dear as our Scandinavian trips have been I think). Our around two weeks US trip in 2014 which included WDW, Universal (staying on site for both) and a week long road trip through parts of the Four Corners states (Monument Valley, Page, Mesa Verde et al) cost us Aus$10,500 all up including everything. I am keen to learn more about renting DVC points WanderlustNZ though my hubby says is it worth it just for a 5 night stay. I know I have to get in early if I plan to do this. The new Hagrid ride at US opening this summer also sounds great though I had planned to not do Universal this time round feeling like we did two trips in short timing there recently so don't feel the need to go back. Also it goes backwards, something that makes me a bit ick and my hubby can't ride after a bad experience on Everest. (To his chagrin he can no longer ride any coaster whereas I, who when younger was terrified and didn't ride them, are now more adventurous though rides like Hulk are totally out of the question-lol!)

Your trip sounds amazing, Aussie Wendy, any pics?
Renting points is super easy, I did it twice through Davids vacation club. Just non refundable. Definitely worth it, IMO, I thought the resorts were better than the parks (crowds) this visit..
I am working on convincing my husband to do China next year. Both disney resorts, of course, and the nature side of things, not the cities. Think he is worried about all the people.. Then Japan in 2022 when olympics and expansion should be finished.
