Last Day in LA: WB, Griffith, and Grove?

1.5 hour drive from Disneyland to Burbank in the morning is realistic. You can park on the side of the road on your way up to the Griffith Observatory. We were there on Thursday and all meters stationed on the side of the road were down so the parking was free, not the $10 as shown on the sign.

PORTOFINO BAY HOTEL INFO...FAQ`s and more.......

The first club 2 queen room I stayed at back in 2017 had a HUGE bathroom with a walk-in shower AND a jacuzzi tub. The sink, tub, shower, and toilet were all enclosed in the same room. The room I stayed in two weeks ago does not have a tub, just a walk-in shower. It is still a nice size...

I just checkout this morning from four night of CL stay. I booked my trip via Costco Travel. Did not receive any communication from the hotel pre-trip. On the arrival day, we went to the club lounge and took a pic of the menu. Here is the menu for this week. The laundry room is NOT easy to...

Where do you get Universal stay deals?

Have you used Costco Travel before? I have a USO package booked for the summer for the very first time, and I am a little bit anxious about it. I just called PBH yesterday to confirm my reservation. The hotel agent on the phone can only confirm my travel dates but not the room type. I was told...

Disney's Club Level (CL) Information & Questions

Thank you for the review! How was the check-in at PHB when staying at CL? My family's very first CL experience was at PHB back in 2017. Didn't know much. In 2018 we stayed at the GF Main building. We were greeted at the curbside and escorted to the lounge. That was a great experience in...

Planing a trip to WDW for school marching band

So last night, I attended my first high school marching band meeting with my daughter who will join the group in the fall. One of the reasons why I supported my daughter joining the marching band is the chance going to WDW with the band. Although we have been to WDW four times by ourselves, the...

    Fastpass return or replacement?

After listening to today's Disney Dish podcast, there might be some "truth" to the rumor about all these versions of FP+. Len DID NOT emphasize the fact that this information was based on "rumors" and stated at the end of that segment that this information will be released this month for Oct...

Disney News, Discussion & an Element of Fun!

I feel like today's news would be side-dish style since we were treated with meaty info on the Disneyland AP and Starwar Galatic Cruiser in the past two days. . I hope I am wrong though. ..

Disney's Club Level (CL) Information & Questions

The sample pricing was for the slower season (mid August to early Sept 2022). Based on my Disney math, the price tag for intangible services/immersive experience is about $2k for a family of 4 in addition to the food, room and 1 day DHS park pass. I am waiting to see people's report before...

To Go or Not To Go

So glad to know that the test results are all negative! Both of my kids were sick with this virus but not my DH and myself and we were with them all the time in the hotel room and in the car. Kids were coughing constantly throughout the day and blowing their noses. We also shared the same water...

Disney News, Discussion & an Element of Fun!

    Here is my Disney math Food ($20 breakfast x 2 +$50 lunch x2 + $70 dinner x 2 + $20 quick service meal x 1) = $300 per adult. So $600 for a party of two. Room.. say $1200 per night, so $2400 DHS 1 day ticket.. say $130 pp. so $260. Immersive experience for 2 nights = ($4800 - $600 - $2400 -...

Star Wars: Galactic Starship (resort experience) News

I hope that’s not the biggest selling point of the whole package. My family rode ROTR twice during our recent trip. We are done with that ride for now.
