    Disney ticket books from 1980’s

I used an old 2 day ticket (not ticket book, which I would keep and not use) a couple years ago. I went to Disney Springs and converted them at Guest Relations. We made an appointment and waited about 45 minutes. Once converted and applied to the proper magic bands, the cast member had to call...

Where to convert old tickets easily and without having to pay for parking?

UPDATE: Actually, we had to convert the tickets at Guest Relations. We made an appointment and waited our 45 minutes. Once converted and applied to the proper magic bands, the cast member had to call each park and inquire if she could make a reservation on the days the other 2 of us had...

Where to convert old tickets easily and without having to pay for parking?

Thanks. I know. I have two other people in our party that have the 4 day passes and reservations, so hoping some additional reservations free up. We don't plan to redeem the tickets if there is no availability.

Where to convert old tickets easily and without having to pay for parking?

I've got some 2008 2 Day Touch of Magic Special tickets I would like to use. I know I have to go to guest relations or a ticket booth to get them transferred and working. I'd like to do it a couple days before I use them and would rather not have to pay for parking just to visit guest...

    Using old tickets

I have a couple 2 Day Touch of Magic Special tickets from 2008 that are good for 14 days from fist use. Can I use these now with COVID restrictions? I just bought a 4 day pass and it was easy to link to an old magic band and make reservations. Wondering if this ticket will require in-person...

Help - where can we get a drink

Everything I saw was open. You could get a drink at Moes, Margaritaville and even the little tiki hut outside Margaritaville under the airplane. Inside Margaritaville, they were limiting the seating at the bars, but I had no trouble getting a seat.

Help - where can we get a drink

My wife and I are heading to US on Monday with our son and his GF. We usually hang with them through lunch, then cool off at Margaritaville or one of the resort bars and have a drink. Now that bars are closed again as of today, can someone going Saturday or Sunday let me know what is open...

Can non guests visit the hotel properties?

We are AP holders and typically my wife and I leave the kids around noon and visit one of the resorts. We like to sit out by the pool at The Royal Pacific or Hard Rock and order a few drinks, have dinner there, etc. Are there any restrictions now with COVID? Do you have to be a guest to eat...

Who's been to NOLA for Mardi Gras & USO Mardi Gras?

One more note - you can catch the parades in NOLA along other sections of the parade route that are mostly locals and not the drunk tourists section.

Who's been to NOLA for Mardi Gras & USO Mardi Gras?

Many other cities around Louisiana do parades and most all are more family friendly and have events going on all day.

Who's been to NOLA for Mardi Gras & USO Mardi Gras?

If you are only adults, you will be disappointed. US MG is nothing like MG in NOLA. Not just the parades, but the food, music, and general atmosphere. Even between parades, the party keeps going all day and night. And there are lots of parades. I don't recommend NOLA MG for kids, so the US...

    Help with organization

Hi, I don't scrap book like most, but I do try to keep vacations and events organized. However, I could use some suggestions or tips on keeping things in some kind of order. I think there are better ways to do things than I currently do them. Here is how I organize now: First, I have a...

    Official 2019 HHN-29 Thread

We went Sunday September 29. Got into the parks around lunch time. About 4:30 we hung out at the Duff beer outside bar which is in one of the holding sections for HHN guests. We were released at 5:45 and were able to do 3 houses all before 6:30. They were walk-ons, but as usual, that...

    Official 2019 HHN-29 Thread

Guess I've been lucky in the past (5 visits past 6 years). Always have gone on a Sunday night in October, no EP, and no early entry for AP, and we've been able to see every house, all scare zones, usually a show and some rides. Hope it works out tomorrow as this is the first time taking my...

    Official 2019 HHN-29 Thread

This will be the first time we are in the park during the day before HHN. I see US closes at 5 and HHN opens at 6:30. But as AP, we get to start at 5:30. What happens that half hour? Do we just stand and wait? Will the restaurants be open and can we get something to eat?

    Tropical pool vibe

Another vote for AKL as the Poly is great, but just not enough shade for us. This is the main reason we love Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach over any other water parks in the Orlando area - they have lots of shade.

Places to meet male Disney fans?

You may also want to look for people who are interested in animation, film production, theater, Star Wars, etc. There are also groups of die hard theme park fans, and although they tend to focus on the thrills of attractions, many appreciate Disney.

What are some unique or somewhat secret things to do or see for the frequent visitor?

No we have not done the rooftop bar. We did the Cinematic Spectacular show and it proved difficult to see the videos clearly. Thanks for the suggestions. We were there this weekend and my son kept going by Hagrids in case they would do a soft opening. No such luck, but we will be back as...

What are some unique or somewhat secret things to do or see for the frequent visitor?

Ha. Yes, we vacation about 6 weeks a year elsewhere. But we live close to Orlando and we enjoy just laying by the resort pool or spending half a day at the spas. Like I said, that is fantastic, but just wanted to be sure I was not missing some little thing.
