Just a flag retreat as they always do on Veteran’s Day. Veteran’s Day does in fact get full when it falls on or is observed by schools on a Monday or Friday. Last time it was a Friday was 2017. I was there and it was crowded.

It’s always done that with certain tickets and passes. You never used to be able to see any of the SoCal level passes unless you had the right zip code. I do, so that’s probably why I see them. My zip is 15 minutes from the park all side streets.

Well sure... eek every last dollar out of those left standing lol. People were buying passes up until June so they have a whole year's worth of people to keep happy still. I don't see that as any potential for renewal options either way though.

No, they are set up for that. Lots of times in the past there have been people grandfathered into old passes that were no longer for sale. Parking too. They can absolutely do it.
