Booking a Murphy Bed Room for 4 People

I have a room with a Murphy bed booked and we are only 3 people. I had a quick look and found that I can book one when I look. This is the May 31 cruise.

What exactly is so bad about the pirate night food, and is anything good?

I like the menu. My favourites are the samosa, the grouper and the cheesecake.

    Next Batch of Cruises

It seems unlikely that the Dream will go to Alaska in 2025. The Disney Wonder is showing up in Vancouver, Juneau, Ketchikan, and Icy Point Straight for 2025. A PP posted the schedule :) https://claalaska.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/All-Alaska-Ports-All-Vessels-2025.pdf

Pearl status on 25th cruise or after?

Directly from the DCL website "Disney Cruise Line Castaway Club recognizes Guests who have completed 25 or more sailings as Pearl Castaway Club Members." I bolded the completed part, you will not be platinum until cruise 26.

Which DCL cruise of these two would you choose for my family?

The Wonder it is our favourite ship. We sailed on her last year, and it was an amazing cruise. The crew was great, and the food was excellent.

Alaska Glacier excursion and Gold Castaway member

I booked it last year as a gold. I ended up cancelling it because the cruises before ours were getting very close to the glacier on the ship so we decided to save our money and book another excursion I am glad we did. You can see how close we got. Those boats are the second excursion heading...

DCL Transport from WDW to PC

They picked up our luggage around 7:30am and I think we're on the bus by 9:30. We arrived really early to port. There is a good description of the process here. I don't think I would make an ADR that morning there really isn't time, I would be stressed about missing the bus lol!

    DCL Transfers in Vancouver

I will say that Lyft/Uber was more expensive than a taxi when we were going from the ship to the airport.

Transatlantic Westbound 2024--on Halloween, trick or treating?

I am not sure if there will be an official DCL trick or treating, but the FB group is planning on having one with its members.

    DCL Transfers in Vancouver

When you get off the ship there are taxi's waiting just outside the doors. It is cheaper I think it was a flat rate (I think $36 Canadian) last year from the port to the airport. It would probably be a little quicker than the bus. Here is picture of the taxi pick up area.

    Secret Porthole Room 5522

There is information about 5022 on the Magic. It will be the same on the Wonder and this room is port vs starboard but they are mirror images of each other. We love the SPH rooms.

Concierge rooms on Triton class – sea sickness?

We have stayed very far forward on the Magic on deck 6 and I had horrible motion sickness, but last year on the Fantasy we were on deck 10 in the second most forward verandah and I had no problem with motion sickness on that cruise. I agree with the PP the newer ships have much better...
