You may want to check into Las Vegas. It can make for a very nice family trip.

It seems that all the medical dispensary are now selling recreational. Liquor stores may be a secondary market. But to date I haven't gotten word on any selling so far.

UPDATE there are now 6 dispensary within a 10 minute drive of South LVB. Two venues are to open soon ( fall ). One is a private club ( no address yet ). The other is a party bus that tours the strip.

Yet one can smoke in the casinos that are quite public. Where there's a will, there's a loophole.

Technically all " Clubs " in Vegas would be considered private. Not that they would go down that road. But someone will want to cash in.

All the free stuff to do with kids is on the south strip. Circus circus is rather far north. Look into Luxor or Excalibur. Both are reasonable and walking distance to many things.
