    Lisbon Port Adventure Advice

We created a tour with a company called With Locals. It was our first time doing an excursion with an outside tour company. It was great!

Did I make a big mistake? (stateroom and Enchanted Garden - Dream)

We have been concerned to book deck 2 on the Fantasy or Dream due to concerns of noise from the atrium on deck 3. We love deck 2 on the Magic and Wonder. I am a light sleeper. Thank you for the info.

Solo Disney cruisers, what does your typical day on the ship look like?

Have never cruised solo, but my husband and I often split up to do different things like earlier poster said. You can join other people as a team for trivia. Our cruise this summer had some meetups for solo cruisers. For a fast paced vacation, choose a port intensive itinerary. You may find you...

First Trip to Hawaii....lots of questions???

Would definitely stay at Aulani last. Don’t miss the north shore and Haleiwa.

    Magic Cruise with kids 9, 14, 18, 20

Make sure they look for the 1820 society meetup the first night and go. It is usually at Cove Cafe and they get free coffee. There should be at least one 1820 society event each day. Most were for ice cream or coffee. Maybe have them watch a few YouTube videos to familiarize themselves with the...

?'s and help needed with planning Hawaiian cruise

I would book a flight to Vancouver. There can be hours long back ups at the border if you drive. The train is notorious for being delayed or cancelled. Then you would be bussed. Fly to Vancouver.

Zero Enforcement of Dress Code @ Palo

Sad to hear. I was disappointed that they relaxed the dress code.

    Magic Cruise with kids 9, 14, 18, 20

It depends. How outgoing are the older boys? Have they been on a Disney cruise before so that they know what to expect? We took our 20 year old son on three cruises last year in February, June/July and October. He had a great time on all of them. We cruised with some friends in February, so he...

    Should we try it?

I would watch some cruise vlogs on YouTube to see if DCL looks more in line with what your family would enjoy. We have loved all of our cruises with Disney. We have been cruising with our kids since they were 3 months and 7 years. We just cruised three times last year with them being 13 and 20...

Would You Rather... Brunch vs Dinner at Remy vs Palo

I actually prefer brunch at both. Still miss the old buffet at Palo, but our experiences the past few times we have had dinner there did not exceed the current brunch. I prefer Remy brunch because of the sheer magnitude of food. I am so beyond full at the end of dinner that it is uncomfortable...

Got the Go-Ahead from the Family!

Do you know what prices usually are? I would book United for that price difference. Crazy!

Embarkation Lunch - Where do you go?

We always head straight to Cabanas! Need to eat our fill of crab and shrimp! Our first cruise after Covid was our one and only concierge cruise, and we could not pass up lunch at Cabanas. It has become such a ritual since our very first cruise. Would not feel right without it.

Fastest way from Paris to DLP.

We always just take the train, but we stay closer to Norte Dame and leave from Les Halls. Should be an easy metro ride down to there and switch trains.

Posting for a Friend who left kids passports at home. Can they get on

I would do my best to get them overnighted and call DCL.

We docked downtown on the 2019 Western Europe cruise.

    Norway vs Mediterranean

I agree with everyone’s advice. We have done three long Mediterranean cruises and one Iceland/Norway. We loved them all. The Med cruise last summer was extremely hot and surprisingly humid and way more crowded than the previous two. Mediterranean cruises are amazing, but pretty exhausting even...

Do you have a date with Destiny planned (Triton #3 name revealed)

We are halfway in the same boat. DD goes to a web academy and DS is now 20, so the college thing. We were able to work around things last year and get in the long Mediterranean cruise last summer and the WBPC with him. We lucked out with great kids in 1820 society on both cruises, even though PC...

Do you have a date with Destiny planned (Triton #3 name revealed)

Like I said, I hate that it is the reality for us. We love the Magic. She was our first ship. We jumped at the chance to do Panama Canal on her last October. We missed her in the Mediterranean last summer, but really enjoyed the Dream. We had been on the Fantasy, but not the Dream because of...

    Flight time from Barcelona

Both are pretty tight. I think we had a flight leaving Barcelona around 11:30 on our first cruise, and it worked out okay. Would have liked a little more time. Amsterdam is crazy and huge. That would be my biggest worry. We had a three hour layover there once, and that felt tight because of the...
