I've had some great luck with Costco Travel. Historically when we travel they have consistently had the lowest cost option for car rental - enough savings to cover the membership cost. Last week my rental through Costco was $100 cheaper then anywhere else (direct, Undercover, Orbitz, etc)...
Rates weren't available for my dates for premium hotels. Looking for Aug 20 -23 and the only AP rate at the premium hotels was $1400/night for presidential suite
Sorry catching back up with real life. When booking and reading through this thread there are some bathrooms that have a shower only. It's easier for us with a tub for our youngest so this was a better option for us.
Here's the link to the map of the shortcut...
Just back from spending part of last week at Portofino. We had an amazing stay and can't wait to come back.
We had a bay view with a Juliet balcony, which was great to see the Opera singers at night. We had one huge bathroom with a tub (instead of the shower only). I had forgotten to put...
My experience last week was rough. We used Genie+ in HS and MK. We rope dropped Rise (waited 45 mins) and Remy (waited 30 mins).
Our troubles were with the technology. We had a variety of phones, iPhone, Google Pixel, Samsung S9+, and Genie+ would only work on the iPhone. All apps were...
I'm thankful for this thread. I'm getting a little training fatigue being stuck indoors on a treadmill. Even changing speeds or inclines doesn't keep it that interesting :P
I'm most excited for running in the MK, through the castle and finishing my first 1/2 marathon. Post race I'm excited...
Love HHI and been a few times, admittedly staying at different resorts on the island. Kids have been under 12 on all trips. We did kayaking, mini golf, Tuesday night fireworks, pirate cruise, dolphin cruise, biking and lots of pool time.
We are currently debating the Coronado Tower and AKL for early Nov. We stayed at Coronado prior to the tower being built. We had preferred but still a bit of walking. We really like the look of Destino, the tower rooms and the restaurants however what likey will sway us is the extra hours for...
Also trying to figure out what to do. Adults are vaccinated kids aren't not. We did get Covid over the winter so slight chance for antibodies (not sure if that matters with Delta:confused3) We planned to wear masks throughout and no dining indoors or at least at off times. We also are only...
I purchased am Echelon last year when gyms closed. I had never been to a spin class so didn't want to make the $$ commitment of a Pelton. I picked echelon since you can ride with bike shoes or sneakers and can use your own tablet.
Overall I'm happy with it but would buy a different version. If...
As an alumni of Northeastern and resident of Boston, I'm completely biased 😀 and totally in support of kicking them out. Northeastern was prepared for this and students were warned.
Apologies if someone else posted this and I missed it but I think this background is important to understand...
We prefer to be walking distance to the beach and love the Shipyard Plantation area in HHI. We checked out the marina one night and walked to disney resort to get a Mickey bar :)
We rent a car but might be an outlier. We take public transportation for commuting to work so we dont want to wait on transportation on vacation.
We also like to go to some offsite restaurants so find the freedom worth the expense.
Might depend a bit on the ages of your kids and your plan. I would go with Epcot area over AKL if the priority is Galaxy Edge and they have early entry. Last year we stayed at BWI for Toy Story access and it was great being able to walk right over for the early entry. The ability to walk to...
Is there anyway to tell when the half marathon is close to being sold out? I would love to do it but not ready to commit yet and be out $205 yet.
Is it like other races that will tell you when 50, 75 or almost sold out?
eta: got the cost wrong
