    Food & Wine dates announced!

Oh that added to my thought that they crunched the numbers and found those early weeks were not profitable enough to justify all those food booths etc. I mean we never stood in the lines or bought food because it was too hot, we only bought some beers. Now that folks will be paying with dining...

    Which Hilton in Disney Springs

Yup we are Hilton people and I always pick my room. Like at ES LBV South I pick a high floor facing Disney and we can watch fireworks ... especially the holidays Marriott World Center does their big show. During COVID I picked first floor to avoid elevators. Most the time I avoid facing any...

Monorail or Skyliner crawls would be easy, just bus to MK or DHS and get started.

Thoughts on the changes WDW/DL are making to the DAS pass?

We've been going before DAS, before FP then FP+ and I do believe that the lines are longer now. It used to be I'd judge whether we could make it through the SB line, now I have to judge if we can make it through the LL line. Even with a DAS we sometimes wait until later to get in line when I can...

Thoughts on the changes WDW/DL are making to the DAS pass?

I agree that is a personal decision to make. We've made that decision some years when DS issues needed more work on our part for a successful trip. I think the reason folks are saying that is because we now have a large number of people saying they can no longer go to Disney unless they are...

    Food & Wine dates announced!

I remember when it started in October. We would book last week of FREE DINING in September that rolled over to beginning so we could use all our snack credits at F&W. I imagine the longer season and more work didn't equal out to the amount of profits they wanted. We went several times in the...

I want to take a nap at the Polynesian

Last summer we boated over at 2 pm to get on the Trader Sam's list. Got some Tapu Tapu and found some comfy chairs. DS#1 passed out and had a nice hour nap. We had our pineapples parked next to us (proof of patronage :goodvibes) Pretty sure he wasn't the only one. No one batted an eyelash. It...

Thoughts on the changes WDW/DL are making to the DAS pass?

But it is the same. Disney is a luxury optional vacation destination, just like the Grand Canyon, Cruises, European tours or any other vacation destination. If we are in a position to go on a vacation, WE are responsible for managing our needs within the constrict of the destination we choose...

Marriott Imperial Palms April 12 -April 19 2024

Two stays in Imperial, Summer of 2021 and Summer of 2023. We didn't have those issues. The units smelled very nice (we even noted on entering) and well cleaned both trips. Never saw any bugs at all. (and never these issues at our many stays in Sabal Palms) I do agree that finding the trash drop...

Thoughts on the changes WDW/DL are making to the DAS pass?

The system is severely broken, it needs to be fixed. I only wish they were changing the name so it is a new stand on it's own system, like they did the last time. Two upcoming trips, with the first one being a room only reservation. If DS does not get approved that trip might get cancelled...

off property disney springs resort - with same perks??

THIS^ I stay offsite often but it’s been awhile since I’ve stayed in a Disney Springs hotel. Add the rates plus resort fee plus parking … they just aren’t worth the cost to me - because of the lack of Disney perks.

Hotel Closest to Saratoga Springs Resort

It is against Disney policy. Have seen folks try several times and been caught by Disney security (there is a booth right there) and told to go back. Best to just use the pedestrian walkway like Disney wants you to do.

    2 Bedroom with Kitchen Accomidations

I don't drink coffee but I brought the "baggies" home to DH for his backup supply. Don't have any left to look at but looked through my pictures. This is Sabal Palms but at World Center so I assume all the same. It is standard round filters, coffee is in little packets. You can ask for more...

Moving luggage from one hotel to another

No luggage on Disney transportation, plus it’s a long walk from Doubletree to boat/buses. Your only option from a non-Disney hotel is a car - your own, rental, Uber, Lyft or taxi. I think I’d be looking now for rooms at Disney if you can cancel your hotel. Availability changes daily.

    Which moderate?

I don't do sun and I've never had a problem. Most pictures don't show to right if you are looking at pyramid but several rows of loungers that way and even some as you enter. Foliage is there especially along back and some umbrellas. Best bet is move to back of pool deck areas, not be up front...

    Which moderate?

With a 13 year old = CSR. From the time my kids hit teens it was their favorite resort. Pool area alone is more grownup with a long adult sized slide. Yes, lots of dining options which I think is a real plus. We don't think it is a bad walk, a much smaller footprint than CBR, from standard. Our...

    T1D at Universal

The Assistance Pass at Universal is greatly inferior to the Express Pass. You will have to wait the standby time and at Universal there is less to do. It is a manual system so you have to go to the attraction, get a time, then come back. With attractions being spread apart most times we just sit...
