Even though ME was “free” it always felt like it took forever. We would end up hopping in a Lyft for faster service. Now that you have to pay for Mears, it’s definitely not worth the cost for us.

We love Lyft and use them all the time. As mentioned they pick up right outside baggage claim. There will be signs that say Rideshare Pickup. There will be lots of people there.

You don’t need ID for any children under 16. If they are old enough, they may ask their name and age but that’s it. My daughter has always looked older so they would ask her age when she went through security but no ID needed.

I’ve personally had a reservation at Hertz, showed up, and they had no cars. They all reduced their fleets due to the pandemic. It’s definitely a possibility. I would worry more on a holiday weekend than an average weekend.

Yes I use the reservation finder for free too. Just limited to two searches at a time.

You just need to keep looking. We leave in a week and a half and I just booked our first meal yesterday. Another opening came up today for another restaurant my daughter requested. So it’s possible with some diligence.

We’ve ridden when it just started to rain mid ride. It’s not fun.
