I am feeling the same. I used to be the king of AirMiles out here in Stittsville but with a new No Frills opening here there is little enticement to go into Sobeys or Metro. We'll be spending our miles for a while here but its not like the good old days for collecting.

I did Blue Friday in Stittsville/Kanata - Terry Fox store has limits on most things including only 8 oatmeal so ended up going to Stittsville one. Three loads each barely over $100 to get the coupon. Did 1930 AMs today and all stuff we use anyways.

Our Ottawa Catholic school seemed to encourage kids to stay home due to expected freezing rain. I ended up letting my 6 year old stay home because they were going to have a substitute anyways.....I work from home so I let the kid stay up late on our backyard rink last night and sleep in today

I think we were mostly talking about when cashiers refuse to input codes or scan coupons. For sure its not normal to want to pay full price for an item instead of a sale price! :)

oddly I did Metro on 2 cards and both receipts are correct. But one posted and the other didn't. I did transactions at same cashier same store within 5 min of each other!
