Louisiana Chicken Fry - I don't get it, except maybe people are frying their own now!

When do the holiday decorations normally come down after Christmas/New Year season? We are staying at the GF Jan 3-5 and hoping to still catch the Gingerbread house.

That makes sense. I guess I have been lucky, because I have never noticed a difference in the wait time when I was at an All Star or a deluxe.

What time were your groceries delivered? I wonder if this is something new, as I have always had bell services bring my groceries to my room for me.

We stayed in the Presidential suite at the Contemporary. Awesome view of Magic Kingdom and the size of five regular rooms! It was the best and very hard to get my kids motivated to leave for the parks.

Yay! We’ll be there next Thursday- hopefully it stays that way.

Last June we were booked for Tower CL TPV room and we were upgraded to the Presidential suite on the 14th floor. Ironically, I have booked probably around 40-50 trips through my name and this room reservation was done in my daughter's name with an AP discount- her first adult trip (18 yr old)...

Great start of a trip report. I started mine last year and only did one entry and have had 3 trips since then....

I think the more noticeable upgrades are at deluxe resorts because there are so many different room types/levels.

Not for us. It was strange because we officially arrived after 10:00 pm, we only learned what happened when we had to go downstairs to get to of the magicbands working. The desk clerk told us. We had actually done online check in but they never sent us a text.

Thanks for the information on the parking situation. I was back and forth between GF and Contemporary on our trip and obviously glad I didn't switch because we were able to get the best upgrade, but it is an incredibly beautiful resort. Your first AK day sounds like it went close to perfect. :)
