Snorkeling at Castaway Cay W/O snorkel?

Were on CC snorkeling this past Saturday and saw 3 kiddos wearing fins, speedo type goggles and a vest - no snorkel. No lifeguards were blaring unintelligibly out of their bullhorns

Transportation from San Diego Port to Airport

Taxis are plentiful & the airport is a hop skip & a jump away. We walked off and within 10 minutes of leaving the ship, we were walking into the airport.

New Disney Ships: News, Rumors, Speculation.....and Names!

I build ships for a living nowadays and sailed them for many years before this stage of my career. The prime driver to decommission a ship is the state of her hull, mechanical and electrical systems. The part that we, the customers, see is merely so much surface and does not affect a ship's...

New Disney Ships: News, Rumors, Speculation.....and Names!

It's funny, but 5 nights really doesn't get you anywhere from Singapore. Hong Kong is over 1800 nautical miles away. That's a 7 night cruise at max speed with one day in port. Darwin is almost 2400 miles away. Jakarta is only 590 miles, so that's a little over a day (at max speed) each way...

Is it easier to get Remy Brunch than Palo Brunch?

I don't drink, but DW does. I get a 'Linguini', which is a fruity concoction, to start the meal when she gets the champagne. She'll have a glass of wine, but I drink water through the meal. Don't want to pollute the (amazing) tastes with anything else. They offer still, bottled & sparkling...

Is it easier to get Remy Brunch than Palo Brunch?

We've been to Remy/Enchante well over 20 times; unfortunately, the bill comes due... However, you can pre-purchase onboard credit to cover the cost o the meal. Remy automatically includes an 18% gratuity, and you have the option to add to that. If you want to avoid a comment like, "This cost...

    Snorkeling Experience

I've actually quite a bit of experience in the South Pacific; the US Navy took me all over. Guam is exquisite snorkeling. Anyway... Most dive/snorkel companies require the swimmers to wear, at least, an inflatable vest that's uninflated. Five quick breaths and it's full and very safe. One...

    Snorkeling Experience

Go for it. There are few stops on the usual ports DCL visits that do not offer astounding snorkeling opportunities. My family fell in love with the sport after an excursion in Grand Cayman. Granted, we were on the catamaran with 50 of our closest friends :D, but it was amazing and hooked the...

Looks like they need the originals' not photocopies (not sure what gov't issued ID an under 15 would have). Odd that the Global entry doesn't count
