10 Trips in 27 Months! WOO! HOO! COMPLETED 10/2018

BACK TO DISNEY UPDATE:

So, as I left off, we had just finished a fantastic meal at Tony's, we rode some rides, and now it was time for the HEA Dessert Party...Check in was a bit of a cluster. No one seemed to know where to go or what to do (it wasn't like this back in November). We waited in one line only to be told we had to go to another, huh???? We were finally seated and were able to load our plates with all kinds of Disney goodness: cheese and crackers, fresh fruit, mini desserts, smores, cookies, ice cream...You name it, it was here...We all ate like pigs. Again, no pics. I'm such a failure. I promise to do much better in October...:rolleyes1

We were escorted to the garden afterward, where we had a fabulous view of the Castle. Yep, it's a thing. Every time I go to MK from now on, I'm booking the dessert party. I can't even begin to tell you how nice it is not to have to fight the fireworks crowds...And, to be able to spread out during the show without strangers breathing on you...

Everyone thoroughly enjoyed HEA up close. We let the crowds thin out because we had more rides to get to. EMH were starting soon, and Ali, Ash and I were determined to get some attractions in with no wait times. But first, we all rode Dumbo together, because Gia loves it. It's important to keep the baby happy!!!!!!!!

Tune in next time to find out how we spent our time during MK's EMH...

Happy (belated) Anniversary. Looks like a WONDERFUL celebration meal.

Good luck moving Tim back home, sounds like they have a great trip planned thanks to you as well!

Love the TSL photos. It is such a fun little area. We visited several times last week and enjoyed it. I particularly love the new SD headbands people have as well as the LGM headbands...so cute! I didn't purchase any of them myself though.

Our meal was so good! The pics don't do it justice.
Tim is sad to be coming home. All of his bosses wanted him to stay.
I can't wait to see TSL for myself!!!!

Loving all the toy story march, especially the slinky dog. Casey is most definitely gonna want one of those.

REAL LIFE UPDATE:

My favorite band in the whole wide world did a charity event last night in my town of Oswego, Il, benefiting pediatric cancer patients. I'll give you a hint as to who it is...I named my dog after the lead singer...RZEZNIK...The Goo Goo Dolls!!!!!! Of course, Joe bought us VIP packages for my birthday gift. The package turned out to be a MAJOR disappointment, but I won't go into that here. But, I will post a few pics...I will also say there was a bit of Tito and Lemonade involved in the evening...Hey, it was VERY hot out! A girl needs to stay hydrated...

Oooh happy anniversary, looks amazing, and Toy Story Land is soooo cute! Can't wait to visit soon!
Looks like a great Goo Goo Dolls concert!! :)
BTW, posted a PTR for our girls trip!! Hope you're in!! The Most Epic Pre Trip Report

Thanks, hon! It was a very nice celebration!
Toy Story Land does look cute! Timmy's trying to spend most of his free time there when he's not blocked...
This was literally my 15th Goo Goo Dolls concert. When we found out they were playing our small town, it was a no-brainer to get tickets, a 5-minute drive from my house.
I am so in for our girl's trip!!!!!!!!!!!!party:

DISNEY UPDATE/Let's Wrap up June 2018...

EMH were a lot of fun!!! We managed to get in POTC, Buzz, and HM. I think we left the park around 11:45. The park was not crowded. We only left early because we were sooooo tired. We took the short walking path back to the CR and went to sleep. We had early breakfast reservations at The Wave before Julie drove us all to MCO...

The Wave was excellent as always, but it had this funky smell to it. Back in March, I thought this too...WEIRD!!!!

We got to the airport, checked our luggage curbside, went through security and arrived at our gate with plenty of time to spare. The flight was on time and uneventful. The limo picked us up and my brother, who flew in from West Palm Beach close to us landing and we all drove home together.

Joe met us out front at my house with my dad, so he could drive my mom and TJ back to their house. Joe took me and the girls to chilis for dinner.
And that's a wrap...Next Disney trip October 7-10 at POR (Royal Room)...

Highlights and Lowlights...

RESORT: The Contemporary is awesome! I love the proximity to the MK. I've now stayed here 3 times, and I love it more and more each time...I think I love it more than the Grand Floridian. I know, the horror...:worship:

MK: The crowds weren't too bad. FP is always a dream. We were able to take full advantage of it.

Fav Meal: Hands down California Grill. I can't wait to have brunch here in October...For those of you who have not had the opportunity to dine here yet, I highly recommend it.

Worst Meal: I wasn't pleased with the service at Trattoria, but the food was damn good.

Transportation: Yep, buses suck!!!! I've never been a fan.

It was a great trip, but way too short. I can't wait to go back in October, and now there's the May trip to look forward to. I will be picking dates and resort soon, so stay tuned. Thank you to everyone who popped in to leave comments. I love hearing from all of you!!!!:rainbow:
