AKL standard room ?

Do any of the standard rooms have bunk beds? Does the room seem smaller having a bunk bed?

Yes. You gain space. The bunk beds are smaller, so you gain space on both sides, I think

I may be wrong, but I don't think any standard rooms have bunk beds.

Well what exactly is the definition of "standard"?

We just went, and could have gotten a bunk bed with no extra charge (I think)

I was referring to the types of rooms, I believe there is standard,savannah,deluxe and conceriege (sp?). I would like to know about the standard rooms.

Two queen beds
1 queen, bunk beds
One King

Deluxe
Two queen
1 queen, 1 bunk bed, 1 day bed
One king, one day bed

Standard refers to the view & there are definately standard view rooms with Bunk beds.

There is more floor space as bunk beds take up less than a queen but a bit less light because they take away the over the bed light that is normally over the queen bed.
