I’m glad to see this thread. I was part of the 2016 thread and read SO MANY amazing books based on recommendations from others. One of my goals for this year is to read more..I spend way too much time online.

I’ll say my goal is 50 but I hope to read more than that.

Do books on tape count? If so, I’m listening to one now.

Thank you for starting this thread :)

I'll join this year... I don't get a chance to read as much as I'd like between life and full college course load. I mean, I read ALL OF THE TIME, but not for fun :rotfl:

I'll say 10.

I'll go ahead and join.

I'm going to shoot for 20 books this year. Way under what I used to do but I find I'm reading slower and having a hard time getting good, free books on my Kindle.

I'm in!
Lowering goal to 50 this year.

I think I'm gonna give it a try! I'm going set my goal at a low 10 because I am backed up on some crochet blankets I need to get done. Do books on tape count?

Thanks for starting this for this year :)

My numbers dropped in 2017 because I read all two thousand, small print, pages of the Passage Trilogy and listened to a bunch of podcasts instead of reading.

I hit 55 in 2017 (70+ in 2016), so I’ll set a baseline goal of 60 for 2018.

I'm in for 60. I've got a question-I'm about half way through a book I started in 2017, but will finish in 2018. Will it be my first for 2018? If so, I got a little head start!

I’m going to join in! Going with 40 same as my goodreads goal!

Hoping to get some good recommendations from everyone love hearing about new books!

I will try for 25 books this year.

I also second the question about books started in 2017 counting?

I started one on Dec 30/31st. I'm only halfway through but I will be counting it as a book read in 2018.
