Another lovely day in Oklahoma. . .

The most snow I've ever seen anywhere was in the Lake Tahoe area. We drove from Reno to a ski resort called Sierra and although this isn't my picture, this is what it was like:

OK, just looking at the pic gives me claustrophobic vibes let alone actually driving thru that!! Ronandannette, does that all actually melt over the summer months??

PollyannaMom, I look forward to reading your TR when I have a quiet moment where I can savor all the great Disney experiences you had!

Just a quick update on my life. Youngest DS (one who lands planes in Ohio ) is now moving to Indianapolis in one week. So I have been very busy conversing with him and "looking" via Zillow at many of the homes in that area he would be willing to rent with his wife and our 2 and half old granddaughter. He got the call to this new job March 7 and has to report March 17!!! DH will be going down to assist in the move. So it's been a very crazy few days around here!!

Indy's a pretty cool place and you're within driving distance to Chicago (just under 3 hours), and less than two hours to Cincinnat and Louisville :) Bonus you can sell parking places for the Indy 500 in your front yard!;)

I don’t know. :confused3 It’s not like that here. The picture (although I googled it because our visit was years ago pre-digital photography) is from the Lake Tahoe area. I’ve never in my life before or since seen conditions like it.

Is he going to be working ATC at the Indianapolis airport?

View attachment 388315 The men, and I just popping in to wish everyone a "HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY" :shamrock:

Slainte!

Sinead

Awww!!!! Super cute! Thanks for the cheery photo.

I'm still recovering from Pi Day and reminding myself to "Beware the Ides of March".

What is everyone doing for St. Patrick's Day? We'll wear green and I'll make soda bread - or buy it from Trader Joe's if they have any left because theirs tastes so much better than mine. We have a severe shortage of Irish pubs around here, so we may just have a green themed meal at home. Spinach quiche and salad might work.

Wishing everyone a very happy weekend!

Yes. He won't be landing planes, tho. He will be working in the radar room that works with the airspace above the airport, you know the jets that are 30 some thousand feet above. Eventually, he said, he'd move to the Tower.

Right now he and DH are moving a U-Haul to Indy. The U-haul broke down for a couple of hours on the highway this morning which didn't help matters. They were already running late from the bad weather that was going on yesterday. They were getting ready last night to leave but a tornado warning held them back for awhile. We all wanted spring but not some of the bumpy weather that comes with it.

"Et tu Brute"? Just had to use the phrase somewhere. I did take Latin in HS! :teeth:

For St. Patrick's Day (my favorite holiday in college when I resided in Chicago btw) I will be putting on a corned beef brisket, hopefully winning a little money at the casino and rooting for Michigan State......go Green!!!! :cheer2::shamrock:
