what exactly is it that you are interested in knowing about grad school? i'm sure that most people can say different things about where they go and what program they are in. my bf is in computer science grad school, which i'm sure is way different from grad school in chemistry (which i might apply to next year).
I'll be finishing med school and starting a doctorates in neuroscience this upcoming school year. I study in Spain, but I did recieve my bachelors from the University of Miami (Florida)
I'm an EdS. candidate...more than an MA, less than a PhD. Complicated either way...I'd be happy to answer questions about the process, etc. though that would be applicable for a specialist or a PhD.
I'm almost 1/2 way through my PhD and I can tell you that it's a lot of work but also very rewarding. I would say that it is important to take the time to make sure that you are certain about the program and requirements when you apply. I waited an extra year to apply because I had to arrange my life to fit the venture. If you have any specific questions, just post and I'm sure someone here will be helpful.
I've just finished my first year of doctoral work in Communication (Mass Comm emphasis) at the University of Utah. I'd be glad to answer any questions you have!
