Bay Lake & Parking for Magic Kingdom

We closed on a resale in February with BLT as our home resort. We have reservations for July, but since we booked so late, we are at AKL, as BLT wasn't available.

My question is: On days that we are heading to Magic Kingdom, can we park in the BLT parking lot, since this is our home resort, vs. the main lot for MK?

Ownership at a resort does not allow you to park there when not staying at that resort. When staying on-property and going to MK, it's best to take Disney transportation since that drops you off near the main gate.

Congrats!! As the pp indicated, you will not be able to park there. When you check into your resort you will get a placard that allows you to park at your resort and indicates that you are entitled to free parking at the parks. So either park at MK and take the tram to the front gate or take the bus to AKL.

You don't have any rights to your home resort when not staying there.

The exception to what is mentioned above is that you can park all day at a near park resort such as Contemporary now if you do valet parking (currently $20 a day).
