When i'm on holiday i love to have a burger or two, mainly because i rarely have them at home.So where are the best ones.I'll eat almost any type but i do love hot ones with jalapenos or chili sauce etc.

I haven't been to Vegas yet, going in September but I've been seeing a lot of good reviews for Stripburger across from the Wynn and BLT Burger at the Mirage.

Hello,

Try the Burger Bar at Mandalay Bay. Pretty good and for an affordable price.

Thanks

In-N-Out Burger.

:thumbsup2 Animal Style.

OP you may know of this place since you've been out east. The West now has Five Guys Burgers and Fries too. I've heard they are in LV but nothing about them being on the strip.

Both In-and-out Burger and 5 Guys are great!!! We have 5 Guys near us, but as soon as our plane lands in San Diego next week, we are headed to the nearest In and Out Burger for lunch!!!!!
Enjoy whatever you decide in Vegas!

In SD it's about 2 miles from the airport. You will exit the airport going east on Harbor Dr. Make a left on the Pacific Highway(this is likely the road your rental car lot will be on). Go north make a left onto Rosencrans(right is Taylor). In and out is just to the right on Sports Areana dr. I worked in a office a few miles from there when a sweet girl told me I needed some Lemonade. A. she should of told me well before I was moving. B. That what I needed was a neapolitan shake.

In Las Vegas that would be on the other side of I-15 at the corner of Tropicana and (accessed off) Dean Martin Dr. You won't miss the giant yellow check if it's night.

Cheeburger Cheeburger!! They are sooooo good! Awesome "50's" atmosphere!
:thumbsup2

Where in LV is this?

Not really knowing how to add a google map to the post, I would say go to the location on the website (one in LV) and then google map it from a strip hotel (if that is where you would be staying) - it's off the strip, but if you are driving (have a car, not cab) then it's manageable, not too far. My sis is out there, near-ish to this place - and it's soooo good! Seriously!

We won't have a car so Cheeburger is a bit away for us,although i would love to do the challenge.In-n-Out burger and Stripburger are two i like the look of.Also i have seen that there is a Fuddruckers in the Orleans and they do an Inferno burger, has anyone tried it?

Ate at In and Out last week while in Vegas. Ate at the one off Dean Martin and it was 3pm and it was absolutely packed. burgers were meh compared to other in and outs I have had.

The best one I've had is Burger Bar at Mandalay Bay as a previous poster mentioned.

I third the recommendation for Burger Bar. I know most of the gourmet places do this, but I really appreciate being able to order a burger "medium". Places that require your burger to be served "well-done" are just not as yummy. "Risks, shmisks", I love a pink center in a burger! I got the kobe burger when I was at Burger Bar and it was very good.

if you go to in and out, have them say "add chilis" they will cook your patty with the banana pepper. it is much better than adding them afterwards. i also recommend saying "no salt" they often heavy hand the seasoning while cooking, and especially if you get it animal style, you cannot taste the difference.

holsteins in the cosmopolitan, center strip. has really good burgers. the meat quality is very nice. i have had all of them.

i know you said that going off strip is not really an option but Bachi burger, south of mandalay off Lv Blvd about 8minutes has really good asian inspired burgers. again very high meat quality.

burger bar is pretty good, i find you need to be careful on the build your burgers though. most people just pick things they like, but dont consider how the flavors and textures play off of each other and end up with a burger they are content with but feel they could have done better themselves, or gained more value elsewhere.

stripburger is barely ok to me. they do have some good pairings, but i have always felt unsatisfied. i used to work at nordstrom and they had generous mall discounts, so i ate there a good amount of times. id much rather in n out.

each hotel does have a fancy burger place and they are all pretty good, there are two i have yet to try, one in mirage and one in the palazzo, but ive yet to have better than holsteins on the strip. off the strip ive found some good local joints for sitdown burgers
for fast food, in n out is the best, i find five guys very weak in taste and execution. it is cool to have all those toppings as choices but, more often simpler is better especially if your quality is good.

BLT Burger at the Mirage is really really good. It's not too cheap for a burger place but the burgers are very tasty and the shakes are some of the best on the Strip. I recommend the Lunchbox (Peanut Butter and grape jelly) or the Twinkie milkshakes to compliment the burgers.

For table service, Holstein's at The Cosmpolitan of Las Vegas is the best. I dream of the Gold Standard, which is $17 and worth every penny. Smashburger has the best quick service burgers, but I do not know if there is one near the Strip. In-N-Out is good but not great.

i agree with the gold standard. im not a smashburger fan though. they literally smash the burger while cooking, releasing a lot of the juices and cook it too well done for my taste.

but if it is something you want to taste, there is one off of maryland parkway and tropicana, which is only about 5 minutes west from trop and lv blvd

Just went to Vegas and StripBurger was far the best burger I have ever had.
It is not a fast food joint like In-and-Out burger. We went to In-and-Out and nothing to be compared! StripBurger is custom made with whatever you want on it and they are HUGE!!!

Enjoy!!

I've been to Vegas recently too for the first time. The only burger we ate while there was at Hash House A Go Go at the M Hotel/Casino and it was by far one of the best burgers that I have ever eaten.

Not sure if it is THE BEST in Vegas but we had burgers with sweet potatoes fries at the BLT in the Mirage and it was PRETTY GOOD.
