Best places to eat in vegas? Buffets???

Both the Carnival Buffet at the Rio and the one at Circus Circus claim to be the largest buffet in Las Vegas; apparently, a while back, the Travel Channel agreed with the Rio.

HOWEVER, since that time, the M Resort opened and now seems to have exceeded both those venues.

Any local places for good pizza out in Vegas? On or off strip?

I am orginally from NY and the only good pizza I have found is WAY off the strip in Henderson, about a 20 min drive. Do you still want the info?

The Rio is also very good but cost more then the M Resorts. I have never gone to the circus circus.

Also stay away from the Palace station casino buffett it is $9 for the price it is good but you don't get nearly what you get at the others.

The Main Street Station buffet is in about that same price range - depending on the day and featured items, but MUCH better selection and quality!

I just read all 4 pages of this thread. Thanks for the tips! I had read in guidebooks that the Paris buffet was good, but did not see it mentioned in this thread. Any comments? We were planning to go for breakfast and stay through brunch.

Used to be one of the best buffets in town, but not so much any more. Harrahs is offering $34.99 for 24 hour buffet entry at all their Vegas properties. If you time it right you could easily get in 4 meals. My folks tried Caesars twice & Planet Hollywood twice during their 24 hours. They said PH had a larger selection but CP had better food. They liked it as they could get lots of fruit & veggies (often lacking in many meals out)

Personally I no longer eat buffets in Vegas--overpriced for average or worse food, IMO.

I was in Vegas last weekend. While I didn't eat at the Paris. My brother and cousin did and they loved it. We had dinner at the Rio, at the buffet and it was delicious. I really enjoyed BB Kings at the Mirage. Had breakfast there twice.

If it gets to pricey we will hit the in-n-out burger or even mcdonalds.:thumbsup2

Just be aware that in and out burger is a bit away from the strip. I personlly wouldn't walk it. McDs is on the strip. I think one is down towards the MGM part of the strip and I think maybe one in the center of the strip but I'm not sure.

We are back from our trip! Next time, if they still have it, we'd like to try the "Buffet of Buffets," where you pay one price (around $35 each) for 24 hours at any of 7 different buffets.

This time we tried Paris' Le Village buffet for breakfast, and (not on the same day!) Harrah's Flavors buffet for lunch (because we had Mac King comedy magic tickets where you get in for the price of a drink and then can upgrade to 2-for-1 buffet for $5 more).
