We have never ate a table service meal at a resort and we were wondering what you be your top picks or must dos?

If you like character interaction, we enjoyed 1900 Park Fair at the Grand Floridian for both the food and character interaction.

Tusker House, Garden Grill or Akershus for characters.
Prime Time, Garden Grill (again) or Biergarten for theming/unique experience
Chefs de France, Artist point (storybook dining) or Sanaa for good food
Tiffins, Narcoosee or California Grill for Fine Dining

There are so many variables and it's completely subjective. For example we had bad experiences at both Jiko and Sanaa but other's rank them high. Our favs. so far though:

California Grill at CR
Topolino's Terrace at Riveria (the food was excellent but our service wasn't the best, we had to wait at both the bar and the table but I'm not sure if that was supposed to be just part of the experience. We eat at a lot of "higher end" places and waiting between service is understood but not to actually have someone come to the table and acknowledge you are there and take a drink order).

Neither of the above are cheap.

Swan & Dolphin Signatures - BlueZoo & Shula's
Four Seasons - Capa
Contemporary - CA Grill (for the view, the food is 'meh')
AKLodge - Boma (for breakfast), Sanaa (for lunch or daylight dinner).
GFloridian - Victoria & Albert (jacket required for gentlemen), Narcoossee's (decent food, good fireworks view).

Budget: Beaches and Cream
Characters - breakfast: Cape May Cafe
Characters - dinner: Artist Point
Signature: the Yachtsman

1. California Grill - Dinner. Just a true Disney experience. Get a reservation 2 hours before fireworks, take your time eating, and then wait on the balcony for the fireworks.
2. Sannaa - Lunch/ early dinner. Bread service, share another dish, and marvel at the zoo right outside the window during the daylight.
3. Ohana - Dinner. Best with a larger group but the place feels alive and tropical.
4. Geyser Point - Dinner. not a true table service but the location on the lake is just amazing.
Honorable Mentions: Bon Voyage breakfast, Artist Point dinner, Jiko, and Flying Fish.

For 1 dining credit restaurants that we've been to, we liked The Wave best for food. We've had mixed experiences at Boma and 'Ohana -- really good several years ago, not so good our last visits. We didn't like Cape May and won't return.

California Grill (Contemporary) & Yachtsman Steakhouse (Yacht Club) are the two we have been enjoyed most.
Sanaa (AK Lodge)
