please share any yummy Christmas desserts you are making or have enjoyed in the past. I’m assigned dessert for three parties - one chocolate, one non chocolate and one bite sized. Thanks for any suggestions!

I love love LOVE to serve a pat of Brie, Camembert or similar soft cheese atop a Gingersnap with a dab of fig preserves on top. A fresh cranberry relish with rock sugar or coarse sugar is also pretty & yummy this time of year.

I don't bake for Christmas, but I just made this gluten-free with no "fake" ingredients flour-less chocolate cake recipe and it turned out great https://www.kingarthurflour.com/recipes/flourless-chocolate-cake-recipe

We served it sliced, and drizzled a homemade raspberry sauce (a small jar of all fruit raspberry preserves, a 12 oz bag of frozen raspberries, a large splash of chambord (brandy or really any liquor might work) - sweeten if you like things sweet, not if you don't - then cooked down and cooled) over the top and sprinkled the plate with sugared fresh pomengranate seeds...no one had anything left on their plate, even though this was the 4th mini-dessert course...

PS - You can leave out the espresso powder (I did) - it really is optional...

Cheesecake with strawberries on top. Can also make into mini ones.

Trifle? So easy and can make a ton of different ways. Chocolate can be cake with chocolate pudding or mousse, chocolate syrup, candies and whipped cream. Strawberry you can make with pound cake or angel food cake or yellow cake and fresh strawberries, strawberry pie filling and whipped cream.

Lemon bars
Gingerbread

So many choices

I usually make a cookie tray (gingersnaps, press cookies in shape of trees/bells/etc, Christmas sugar cookies, chewy chocolate cookies, etc). Lots of variety in mini sizes! Cheesecake is a good go-to....either a whole cheesecake or as "cupcakes" or mini "cupcakes". You can top with cherries, strawberries or leave plain. A chocolate sheetcake goes far for a big crowd.

Chocolate - Brownies, or brownies bites

Non- chocolate - Lemon pound cake, with some type of berries, or berry compote for the topping

Bite size - mini cookies - peanut butter blossoms, wedding cookies, chocolate chip, sugar, ginger bread...

Hi
I also make the mini cheesecakes but I use the recipe that calls for a vanilla wafer to be used.
We also use can pie filling,,,Cherry/Blueberry/,,and if fresh strawberries are available we have used them.
Here a link to a recipe for them

Wow really beautiful... I am so going to use the cheese cake recipe... Pixie dust heading your way... Thanks ...

If you still are looking for an impressive, easy, and fresh non-chocolate dessert - I love fools...here are 3 that will work (and can be made ahead a few hours). My family's tradition is a fake fool with marshmallows stabilizing the heavy cream and fresh and canned pineapple adding the sweet/sour tart, but these give more variety (and I like the idea of the greek yogurt for marshmallow sub:)...https://www.seriouseats.com/2014/07/variations-on-classic-fruit-fool-custard-dessert.html

PS - And it's another "all regular ingredient" gluten free dessert, if it's needed:)...

These are no cook, quick and delicious (but I guess the name is politically incorrect) My kids LOVE them

We also love white and dark chocolate peppermint bark, which is also super easy

and then there are these....if you are looking for something a little more "lit" as the title says LOL but I think you could easily do them with regular Jell-o and not spike it
