Crowds during Grad Bash

Hello,
I just realized that 2 of the 3 nights we are going to be at Universal/IOA are grad bash nights (didn’t even know that was a thing! Sounds like a great time for seniors!).
Any insight into how this affects crowds on these days? We have teens ourselves so we were looking forward to staying late in the parks, but will have to pivot to early mornings/ early evenings, but debating If we should just skip those days all together if it’s going to be crazy crowded.
Appreciate any insight or tips!

Around 3 to 4 PM, the groups start to roll in, and it gets quite crowded. The middle school event days are particularity bad as the maturity level is even lower.

I went once in May during Mother's Day weekend and felt it was crowded. We had a rental car and tried to go out one evening, believe it was the Friday night, and it was just lines and lines of busses. Took forever to exit Universal's property and get down the street.
