Wednesday 15th December
Today we’d booked a character breakfast at Café Mickey in the Village – the selection of foods was amazing – we’d never seen so much choice!! We met Mickey of course,

Friar Tuck and the Sheriff of Nottingham (very appropriate as that’s where we live!!) plus at the end a mouse-girl out of “Rescue Rangers” which we’d never heard of!
Afterwards we got the mini-Minnie train round the hotels which again was absolutely freezing as was Lake Disney around the edges!!
We walked across to the Studios park where we had our photos taken with Santa Goofy

and did some shopping in the Studios Store which was full of lovely Christmas goodies!
We had our photos taken with Minnie on her New York set and Mickey at his trailer and then went on the Studio Tram Tour including Catastrophe Canyon! Went to studio 1, which is all decorated for Christmas, and watched a group called “Edelweiss” before looking round the Legends of Hollywood store.
We saw Santa with his giant truck (!!??) near the Moteurs Action show and then got hot drinks in the Rendez-vous des Stars restaurant where we saw and listened to the swing-along Santas!
We watched Animagique and Cinemagique before meeting Chip and Dale outside the Parapluies de Cherbourg followed by lunch in the Restaurant en Coulisse where we watched a “streetmosphere” sketch at the same time.
We walked back to the main park and waited by the Town Square end of Discovery Arcade where the princes and princesses come out at the start of the Enchanted Fairytale Ceremony. We had a good view of them as most people were waiting in Main street, then went up towards the hub to watch the rest of the ceremony.
After that we went on Peter Pan and Pirates of the Caribbean before going back to see Santa again as I’d managed to lose the other photos we’d had taken with him. He told Rhiannon to sit on his knee this time instead of next to him – one of the perks of the job!!!

Hot drinks at the Cable Car Bakeshop again and then watched Fantillusion again. Went to see the ice-skating outside the Hotel New York – decided it was far too cold to have a go especially as neither of us can skate!! Then, as has become our tradition on the last night, we had a Tex-Mex meal in La Grange above Billy Bob’s, which was enormous as usual, then back to the hotel.
