Direct Benefits and Selling Contracts

Hi All,

Just a hypothetical question to understand something.

Let’s say I have four direct contracts, 75 points each. All of them purchased when the threshold for direct benefits was at 150 points.

Let’s say that in 10 years the threshold is 250 points. If I sell one or two of those contracts, would I lose the “blue” card because I’d be below the required minimum at that point, or the threshold for my membership will stay at 150 because that was the requirement when I purchased those contracts (of course, assuming I always keep at least two of those contracts)?

To be clear, you are grandfathered in because Disney currently has allowed for that. In the future they could, theoretically, eliminate that stance.

They reserve the right to change/eliminate member extras at any time, and they are not guaranteed for you.
