For anyone who's missed it and is interested :D

Still many details to be sorted, but in summary, price looks to be around $210 (but may change) and deposit is $150 per booking, so it makes no odds if there is just one of you or a family of 5, the deposit is still $150 and is non-refundable. This is a similar price to last year, and I must say that whilst it seemed quite expensive to me beforehand, it proved to be definately worth every penny when I got there!

Secondly, Pete has organised a super rate at the Swan/Dolphin of $129 a night (Fantasia Sam!) - they are such cool hotels - you would be getting a deluxe at about a moderate rate and staying in the BW area is just awesome!

Check out Pete's announcement

Just thought I'd add that Expeida are offering a special airfare of £283 for 1st week of December!!

DISCON is the DIS Convention - the first was last year (which I went to) and this year it is 4th-8th December.

Basically, it is one giant DIS meet with special activities. Last year consisted of a private Character Breakfast for only our group (Mickey, Minnie, Belle, Buzz and Woody), a meal at any of the Epcot restaurants, 2 hours exclusively on the ToT AFTER park closing, Illuminations Dessert Party, which is on French Island, the sticky out bit near France for the most perfect view of Illuminations (and plenty of cake :D ) Fantasmic Dessert Party...more cake and a special viewing area for Fantasmic so we didn't have to queue up ages before hand, and a 'goodbye' continental breakfast. This was what you paid for, there was also a whole host of mini-DIS meets (Thrill ride meet, Dole whip meet, Fantasyland meet, pin meets, Drink Around the World meet) which anybody could go to. It was a lot of fun and the convention events were really special - it was worth every penny, and hopefully I'll be attending this years too!

I sat out the ToT personally - wild horses couldn't get me on that thing! Just watched everyone else going around and around and around to ride it again, LOL. My other half was most proud of himself though for having the record amount of rides that night...15 (or was it 16) consecutive rides on the trot

It was pretty cool being the only people in MGM though!
