Disney Trans. or rent a limo?

Our family: 2 adults, 4 kids (10, 8, 6, 2) are doing the Land/sea vacation in November. We have reserved transfers through DCL for now. I'm just wondering if anyone has done this and is it ok? Would it be better to hire a limo to get us to the ship, in order to get there earlier? Then we'd have to deal with our luggage. What would you recommend? As it is now, we don't have to worry about luggage, getting from airport to hotel, hotel to port and port to airport. How would you work this out with a limo company?

I would check out the limo rate. They will do a 3-leg trip. They can take yo from MCO to WDW, then to the Port, and then back to MCO. We did atown car year before last. It was great.
