That doesn't include Boulder Ridge (VWL).

They and CCV are in a different post than the one that was linked.

This the lot of them; note they are all part of their respective "chapters" posts at the beginning of this thread - each chapter has lots more info than just the floor plan map(s). Also, images subject to change and the images in the chapter post may get updated and no longer be the below. Most or all of the images are compiled by GrandCalifornian.

The original villas (room or building) did not receive any updates during the most recent construction. I think I read the most recent refurb of the original villa rooms was 4.5 years ago.

Thank you for that info. I went back and looked and it was actually Dec of 2015 when we stayed there, so not as long as I thought. They didn’t seem to be refurbished then. I think I’ll go with Copper creek.

Any new reports on what is available for a snack credit at breakfast or lunch, other than bagel/pastries?

We were able to get a small side of breakfast foods at POR and Poly a while back. Still trying to figure out what's available at WL. We'll have credits to burn.

Is Geyser Point the only place to get a drink for the Pool area? If so, is it acceptable to go up to the bar in a bathing suit and barefoot? Or with a cover up and flip flops. Not sure what to expect, I'm used to the ones you can walk up to in your bathing suit.

I am also curious about this. Love drinking by the pools at resorts.

Do they have any server near the pool or do we need to walk over to geyser point when we want a drink. It would deff be in bathing suit no shirt

Also is this the only bar on property

I was able to get a side of scrambled eggs and a side of bacon at Roaring Forks, but I don't know if they were considered snack credits. Roaring Forks has the standard pastries, yogurts, granola bars, chips and fruit that all the counter service restaurants have for breakfast. :)

We were at the villas pool for three afternoons during our February trip and only had a server come by on one of those days.

The Territory Lounge is the other bar on property and it is just off the lobby, next to Artist Point. :)

I def wouldn’t walk in barefoot.

I think now you can get a side of protein, we always got a side of scrambled eggs and a side of sausage for snack credit. My daughter & I would split it. Then one trip I get to cashier and was told they aren’t snack credits. But from what I read I think they are back in for snack credits. Cereal & milk too.

We stayed at VWL in Jan 2013 and they were in the process of creating the models for the renovation. By Dec 2015, the renovations should have been completed. They removed lots of carpet and replaced it with wood look vinyl. They changed out wall paper in the villas and in the corridor. They replaced the carpet in the corridors. The furniture was replaced with different fabric and styles as were the curtains.
This is what a one bedroom looked like before the renovations in 2013.

Hello ~ can anyone who's stayed in the regular rooms (nature view) at WL recently tell me what type of toiletries they have? I know that there was a trial run at a resort or two with the large H2O products in the showers. Trying to decide if we need to take our own or not. We arrive on Wednesday for our first stay here and really looking forward to it. Thanks so much.

I posted pictures of the toiletries that we in our room when we were at the WL last month. As far as I know, they aren't using the large bottles at the deluxe resorts. They are still using the small tubes.

Here is a link to the post with the pictures. :)

Room 2024 - views

We were located on the second floor and opposite Otter Pond. The Contemporary is straight ahead, behind the trees. The cabin that you see on the far right is the first cabin on this side of the resort. We could hear the boat whistles and the electric water pageant, but it didn't really bother us.

The view slightly to the right and looking at the entrance to the cabin section on that side of the resort.

View attachment 308043
The balcony had the top of the huge brick pillars that hold up the building. But it didn't take up too much space.

Otter Pond was very close, although this picture makes it look a little farther away then it was.

View attachment 308045

The bridge on the left leads to the entrance to the building that people would use when staying in the cabins. The monorail was visible in the distance. It was a very nice view.

I couldn't get a good picture of the fireworks with my cell phone. The fireworks looked a lot better in person. You could see the entire explosion over the trees. The only fireworks that you couldn't really see were the shorter ones that happen right around the castle. The castle was totally behind the trees.

This is the same view as the fireworks view in the picture above. As you can see, the castle isn't visible. But if you walk down to the stairwell, you could see the very top of the castle from there.
Thanks for all the photos Sue! I see WL is giving the larger tubes of Shampoo, conditioner, lotion etc. I like them better than the small bottles, easier to get product out. Nice upgraded toiletries, like they give in CL. Too bad no mint foot cream. So nice before bed after a long day on your feet.
I hope I get upgrade to nature view too, I booked pre changes in categories too. Did you use touring plans room requests?

I called central reservations and had them add the request for a nice view and no dormers. It seems like it worked, too. :)

Are kids frowned upon at Geyser Point? I know its Disney and they are everywhere but I would never bring my 7 and 2 year old California Grill (for example), just because i never know how they will be through dinner. We are staying at CC in May and would like to try Geyser point but don't want to ruin anyone's experience
I know you've gotten some answers but want to add that we've seen kids there all times of day/night, no problem. It's not a place that seems to get "rowdy" or anything at night, and we've been there at 7,8, 10 and later. We've had our kids there until 10:30ish eating and there have always been young kids around sitting at tables with families. :)

Can anyone share experiences of watching the electrical water pageant from Geyser Point? Does it get really crowded? Is it hard to find a table/spot with a good view? I'm imagining there would be a lot of room for folks along the water, but just wanted to confirm.
Also, about what time does the show usually reach WL?
Thanks!

Every time I've been at WL, my husband and I are at Geyser Point late enough to see it just fine. No crowds - no table needed even because there is a pathway you can stand on that faces the water. Since it's usually pretty late (around 10:30 or so according to Disney's website), I don't think youll have any issues at all seeing it!

Thanks for the information Sue ~ it's nice to not have to pack all of those things. Always have liked the H2O products!!

Just switched from Fort Wilderness cabin to a 1BR at Boulder Ridge. I was pleasantly surprised that the room was eligible for the bounceback I booked with last year. We're very excited to experience Wilderness Lodge for the first time, especially since it will be around Christmas.

Is there space in the living room to use 2 pack and plays with the sleeper sofa pulled out?

We watched it a few times last September from the little area closer to the water. Maybe 20 people were there total. It was pretty chill.

Wow, that's gonna be tight but manageable I think... as long as you don't need to pull down the Murphy Bed! There won't be much floor space left. Google photos of the studio to get a better idea.
