We have had a couple of guests who had things come up at work and can no longer come to our wishes wedding (the wedding is 18 days away). My understanding is that I will get the money I already paid toward their food and beverage back, as I am able to change my guest count up until five days before the wedding, but what about the money I spent on their chairs? Can I get that money back or put that money towards something else, or are those kinds of things set in stone at this point? It's no big deal having a few extra chairs hanging around, but I was just wondering, every cent counts!
