Euro Disney - Should I Go? (Long)

Ok well i wasnt sure where to post this but i need some advise, so here goes......

I really do love WDW but as i live in England my trips there are a little less frequent. Also my DH wants to see other places so at the very most i will only get my disney fix every other year (when i get to choose) However because we have just a month long honeymoon next year we will be having a cheepy and a friends villa in Spain and then the year after my DH wants to go to Italy, so as you tell my next trip to the world wont be until 2004!!!!:(

Anyway, my work place are doing a trip to Euro Disney in Feb for three nights. Theres alot of coach travel involved and it can be very tiring (ive done this trip before and i had the bags under my eyes for weeks to prove it). It would include one night at the disney village area and then one full day in the world all for just £100 ($140 approx i think) Now my DH doesnt want to go as we didnt really rate Euro Disney that well after all once youve been to WDW nothing really compares. but i think its just the fix i need to get me through my disney barron period:D , so i could always talk my sister who has never been to disney before full stop.

What should i do? The trip is just before Valentines day but i would be back home for the actual day so i wouldnt miss that day with my DH. I dont really like travelling anywhere without him but hes really not up for it. Should i just save my money and try and convince him later on in the year for a WDW mini trip or go and get a mini fix of euro disney instead?

Help nd advise needed please.

Emma
p.s. sorry for going on so much:D

that is a hard one ! It sounds like a good price, and since you know you won't be back to WDW for a few years....I would go with a sure thing ! Have you also posted this on the UK board ? I know lots of them to Disneyland Paris a few times a year :)

I personally have never been, and getting to Tokoyo Disneyland is higher on my list !

Maybe you could put off your trip to DLParis until a little later in the year. They are set to open a second park there (MGM Studios) in March or May (it starts with an M) this year. That might make the trip worth the effort for your husband!

I say YES! Go to DLP. Our family was just there this past July and loved it. I just read recently that they had to close the park to just AP and hotel guests because it had gotten to its max capacity. We've been to WDW many times, but DLP has several rides that are so much better then their counterparts at WDW. Such as SM and PoC. The Disney Village is another neat place to spend time. Make sure that you do Buffalo Bills Wild West Show there. It is a dinner show and a fabulous recreation of the show Buffalo Bill brought to Europe. It's very good.

For the price you can't beat it! Go & enjoy! Take your sister. Sounds like you need the Disney fix. You have some other wonderful trips planned, but if you love Disney take advantage of this great offer!

My motto is to take Disney whenever or however you can get it, so I would definately go!!! I would love to see Disney Paris someday. That being said though, I have a DH like yours. He loves Disney but doesn't want that to be our only vacation spot (wierd huh :) ). So I understand your thoughts behind trying to hold out for a later date where he could enjoy it with you. I was suppose to go with my sister to DW the week of 9/11 & we changed plans a month before thinking we would go later in the fall. Well, now she says that it will be awhile before she flies again so probably won't go until next December with my DH & kids. Sorry to ramble on but moral of the story is to go when you can get there because you never know what tomorrow will bring.

Good luck in whatever you decide!!
