Favorite ECV company please

It is looking like I will need to rent an ECV for this trip as my knee replacement has left me with less mobility and more discomfort than I need at Disney. We will be staying off property and fear that if I rely on Disney'd vehicle there may not be one for the evenings at Epcot when I have paid the fee at MK in the morning. I would appreciate knowing which company you all have had the least trouble with and preferably which company has the lightest or easiest to disassemble and put in and out of a car. I will have 2 men with me, thank God. LOL. I thank you for your time and trouble and all the neat things I have learned here.

Here are the companies which generally have been freported on most:

Walker Mobility:
888-726-6837
www.walkermobility.com

Care Medical:
http://www.caremedicalequipment.com/
407-856-2273, Toll Free U.S and Canada (800) 741-2282

Randy'S Mobility is in Kissimmee
http://randysmobility.com
407-892-4777

Colonial Medical
http://www.colonialmed.com/about_cms.html
800-747-0246

ScootAround
http://www.scootaround.com
Toll-free, US and Canada 888-441-7575

When I rented I used Walker almost excluseively, and when I moved to Orlando I purchased a used ECV from them at a good price.

As a rule, Randy is the least expensive, but they require you to be present both when the ECV is delivered and when it is piacked up; all the others will leave the ECV at Bell Services (or the office if a time share) prior to your arrival and pick it up there after your departure. Most are $30 per day cutting off at just under $200 for a week with a drop in the daily rate for longer than a week.

Just about al the rentals break into five components with the heaviest being just under 40 pounds. Normally a full-size, four-door sedan (Buick Century or larger) is necessary to fit the components without problems.

Hope this information helps.

My favorite is Walkermobility.com using them again in May and again in October.
whenever I have had any slight problem they have been right there to help including coming all the way to the Back of World Showcase with a replacement scooter when mine got a flat tire. and they also responded promtly to a problem, which was my own fault, on a Sunday.
they are very friendly and reliable.

All of the companies that Cheshire Figment posted are ones that DIS posters have reported good experiences with. The 3 that people post most frequently about are Care, Walker and Randy's and I don't think you would be unhappy with any of them.
If you did a search on each, you would find that there are a few people who have reported negative experiences with one and great experience with the other for each company. In general, all have many more good experiences posted than bad.
Some people prefer to have the ecv waiting for them when they get to their resort and other people prefer to be there when it is delivered so they can ask questions and get a demonstration.

I prefer the vendors that deliver and pick up the ECV at Bell services.
I have used both Care and Walkers and usually use Walkers.

My Mom has always used Walker Medical and they have always been fine. We also use them regularly for our clients at my travel agency.

And Randy's gets my vote. All of the company Sue listed are very good. I don't think you would go wrong with any of them.
