Hello! We're going to DW Sept/Oct 2020, with 6 adults and 2 kids (who will be 2 and almost 5), staying at the Boardwalk with Park Hopper passes. We'll do Monday through Friday in the parks and we're planning on doing the Halloween party one night, either Tuesday or Thursday if they keep the same schedule as 2019. Does anyone have advice on which parks we should visit on which days?

We usually like to do Magic Kingdom the first and last days of our trip (start and end with maximum Mickey Magic), but the PM visit during the week for the party is throwing us off.

What what you do???

You might have 30 different responses to your question here! It's tough without knowing what you want to do/see, and what you REALLY want to do/see. If we have a trip of 4+ days, we often ask ourselves if there are any absolutely must-do fast passes we'd like to get - for example, Flight of Passage for us. Then we'll make an effort to have a day at AK later in the trip to improve our chances of getting that fast pass at 60 days +3 or +4. Then we'll often work backwards from there. If you're not worried about fast passes, that might not matter. Then we might also try to figure out if we have any must-do dining - often we don't, but sometimes we do. And some reservations can be tougher to get. So, for example, if 'OHana is a must-do for us on a particular trip (and we know that can be a tough one at times), we might look for a reservation later in the trip and then plan around it - maybe spending the day at MK that day - or even EPCOT, since the monorail is pretty efficient.

With 2 kids, you probably will want to think about an afternoon or two somewhere that will include the pool, or something non-park related. Being at BW, maybe mid-week you plan on the morning at EPCOT, walk back to the pool for some fun, and then head back to EPCOT or DHS. And remember that now with the new Mickey's and Minnie's Railway in DHS- you can get some serious Mickey time there, too (not just MK)!

But as you know, your options are limitless. I hope I might have said something here that sparks a planning idea or 2 for you. Have a great trip - what great memories with the kids!
