Hello!
My fiance' and I have picked our date (October 16th 2010!! ) and we were talking about potentially trying to do a theme park trip to Disney Tokyo or Hong Kong Disneyland.
However, after a brief bout of google-ing, we found what seemed like quite a few negative reviews from American Disney go-ers about their experiences in these other locales (Particularly around our wedding time in late October).
My question is, has anybody had (or heard of) any firsthand experience at these parks/resorts? I wouldn't mind dropping some extra cash for fast passes or staying on-site discounts, but one review mentioned two hours of queing just to get into the park!
Also, is it worth going to these other places (Tokyo in particular, my lady LOVES Japanese culture), or do their similarites to other Disney parks kind of make traveling halfway around the world seem a little redundant?
Any perspectives on potential Tokyo Disneyland travel is appreciated!!
(I apologize if this is in the wrong thread, I'm admittedly new to DIS, but I'm hoping somebody might be able to help us out.)
Thanks in advance!!
