how to do atlantis????

ok at first thought we dont plan to exit the ship.. but evey one thinks were nuts . we have never sailed before afraid of getting off and not being able to find our way and get lost?
as you leave the ship, to go to atlantis tour do you need to take a taxi? or just walk up to the bus?? or what ever takes you?

We did Alantis on our own. When you get into port walk down to the end of the dock. There will be people standing there offering rides in taxis. We shared a taxi with another family and saved money. We told the taxi driver we were going to Atlantis. It was $4 dollars a person. We did the dig, purchased our tickets at the casino. We walked the dig and then explored the hotel. What a gourgeous place. We walked out to the beach and put our feet in water, but never did any swimming. When we were ready to go back to the ship, we just went to were they dropped us off and found another taxi. It was not complicated at all. I hope you decide to go its a gorgeous place that should be seen at least once. Hope you have fun!!!

huckster - MarkRG's directions for Atlantis are very easy to follow. I have copies he gave us last February and I will bring them on our cruise and give it to you at the Sail Away party. Mark and his DW were our personal guides at Atlantis and we had a great time walking around at our own pace!
